Bought this tent 14 months ago and has been using it ever since. The 2-person tent is big enough to fit a 6’1” & 5’3” people and a dog. We fit just well with more room during winter time as we tend to cuddle closer. It is light - very suitable for backpacking in the wilderness, sturdy - again, suitable for the wilderness, and true to it’s description for being a 3-season tent. It has withstand strong wind, hot sun and even the unexpected snow/rain storm of the Inyo. Vestibule is wide enough on each side to cover our packs, boots and poles. I only wish that the rain cover by the foot is long enough to touch the ground so we have complete coverage during the winter seaso

Great backpacking tent

I have only used this tent three times for multi-day backpacking trips, but it was so easy to set up from the first try. The Rattlesnake SL2 is an asymmetrical tent (with the foot end lower in height than the head end), and color-codes the end clips of the rain cover and the tent itself. It is surprisingly roomy for two people, and the LED lighting built into the tent body makes for a nice touch if you're moving around in the dark. I highly recommend this tent!

This tent is great, its lightweight, easy to set up, its slim and sturdy. It is everything you need in a tent. I have only been able to use if car camping but it is already miles better than my much loved Kelty tent. The light system makes reading books and finding lost items easy. The lights sound like a cosmetic sales pitch at first, however, it has changed how I spend my dark nights in the tent. I can not wait until I can take this tent on a quick backpacking trip.

Super sweet backpacking tent

I've put it through the wringer

This tent is perfect if you want something fairly lightweight yet will stand the test of time. I have had it in really intense thunderstorms and the tent stays very dry on the inside, the vestibules provide a great area to store your packs and shoes in but it is a little cozy inside but enough room to sleep and read comfortably. The lights may seem like an unnecessary joke, while they are unneeded, they are so awesome for reading and sorting through gear and marking maps. The only issue with this tent is if it is cold, humid, and have two people inside you have to be very gentle not to rattle the tent too much when getting up. Awesome tent!
