Big Agnes Lost Dog Sleeping Bag: 45F Synthetic

$159.95 - $169.95

Lost Dog Sleeping Bag

Say yes to that next backpacking trip with the 45-degree Lost Dog Sleeping Bag from Big Agnes in your pack. While you won't want to trek too high into the alpine, those desert excursions and forest service trails are perfect for this lightweight, fair-weather bag. The synthetic fill keeps the Lost Dog light and easy to pack while also warding off water in late May storms.

When it's time to call it a night you'll forget you're even in the backcountry—the Free Range footbox and Free Range hood give you room to wiggle while the pad retainer keeps your bed in one piece. With all that comfort, you'll wake up rested and ready for another day on the trail, the lake, or of simple relaxing at the campground.

  • Summertime sleeping bag for backpacking or weekend camping
  • Full-length zipper cools you down in hot summer temps
  • Free-range footbox allows your toes to wiggle throughout the night
  • Mates with other Big Agnes full-zip sleeping bags

Nice bag for warm nights

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
True to size
200 lbs

If looking for a light weight compressable bag for warmer nights then this is a great bag. Not sure how temp ratings are determined though because when I used this bag in dry conditions (tent) and the temperature dropped into the low 40's F I was cold. Even putting on a light head cap, gloves and my Northface jacket I was still pretty cold. A great bag for warmer temperatures though I'd estimate 55 to 60 F unless you sleep in winter long underwear/ socks.

Synthetic System Bags W/Flex Pad Sleeve

Big Agnes System bags with FireLine™ ECO synthetic insulation offer a roomy, rectangle-shaped sleeping space with an integrated Flex Pad Sleeve on the bottom. With technical fabrics and construction, 100% recycled, super-warm insulation, and tons of comfort features, these comfortable sleeping bags are designed to be lightweight enough for backpacking but cozy enough you'll want them in the campground too. The streamlined silhouette and Flow™ construction increase the thermal efficiency keeping you warm from head to toe. The Flex Pad Sleeve unites easily with your pad, and as you change positions over the course of the night, will keep you from rolling off your pad.
