Comfy to the core.

The Big Agnes Q-Core Sleeping Pad is surprisingly comfy for how compact and lightweight it is for backpackers. Alternating I-Beams evenly distribute your weight for a cradled feel, and X-Static synthetic insulation helps this pad resist odor and feel as soft as a quilted blanket. Big Agnes built the Q-Core out of a PU-coated ripstop for reliable resistance against abrasion and mud. This sleeping pad comes with a stuff sack and a repair kit stashed in a small pocket.

Hate to see the bad news here

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have had two of these for my King Solomon double bag and these pads have been nothing short of excellent for me. I have well over twenty nights in them from sleeping on Rocks to sandy torn ridden beaches and they are both still going strong. Pretty damn comfortable too!

Not Durable

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Very disappointed for how much I paid for this thing. A tear formed 3 months into having it. I patched it up, but know it leaks from the valve. I told backcountry about it and they gave me Big Agnes' email. I am currently in the process of seeing how true the warranty is.

Leaked From the First Night

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

So I bought this pad to replace the Q Core SL mummy pad because I kept sliding off that one and it was tiny. Inflated it once in my house to check out the size and then hit the rail with it. It deflated on the first night of use. I thought maybe I didn't have the valve tight enough, so I didn't think much of it at the time. Second night it did the same thing, third night made me realize I need to return it. Currently waiting for the warranty process from Big Agnes, they have been super friendly and easy to work with so far. I've been told that the valves are being replaced with a new style, hopefully that's true. I'll update when this issue is resolved
