The Big Agnes Fly Creek Collection contains some of the lightest tents available on the market, and the Fly Creek HV UL One-Person Tent is no exception. Unique to Fly Creek HV (high volume) tents, DAC's Angle SF Hub works with the Featherlite pole system to provide 25% more head space and 10% more foot space. Apart from a higher volume, the Fly Creek HV UL Tent still features the same waterproof fly and floor, as well as the same mesh canopy for three-season use.
The fly creates a dry space to protect your gear from wet weather, and it gives the door a dry entry so you don't dampen your sleeping bag. Big Agnes included eleven superlight stakes, three internal mesh pockets, and gear loft loops to accommodate the Big Agnes Triangle or Entertainment Center lofts (both sold separately). This tent is also compatible for a lighter fast fly setup with the fly, poles, and footprint (sold separately).

nice lightweight tent, but used
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I recently spent a week backpacking on the AT with this tent. I'm 5' 10" and it is tight but big enough. I bought it for the weight. Gear doesnt fit under the fly, just shoes. So far I'm pleased. Only complaint is that the tent I received was used

When Like Grew to Love
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Height:
- 5' 3"
Bought this tent for the Pacific Crest Trail. Not going to lie, I didn't love it at first. I'm all of 5'3, but it still felt teeny, and I was getting a lot of condensation. A couple hundred miles in, I realized I wasn't pitching it correctly. And that's when I started to love it! With the tent body attached to the rain fly and pitched out correctly, I found that I had more than enough room. I'm short, but I could bring my pack in as well when I wanted. A year later and another few thousand miles on the Appalachian Trail, and the tent is finally losing its waterproofing. Maybe it's ignorance on my part as to the lifespan of a tent, but about 10 months of every day use in all conditions seems great to me. The tent isn't completely freestanding which allows it to be lighter than a standard tent. The stakes are pretty darn good too- they aren't MSR Groundhogs, but they're the next-best I've seen. Great tent, great weight, great company. I accidentally lost my poles in a hitch and needed my zippers fixed- Big Agnes hooked me up at a great price. After this tent, I'm a Big Agnes girl for life.
