2 years of heavy use, would recomend

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been using this bag for the past 2 years for frequent backpacking and camping trips, as well as some indoor use. After heavy use. it is still in excellent repair with no rips, tears, or zipper problems. I've used it in below freezing conditions, and I had to add an extra blanket around 30 degrees, but I have arthritis and generally sleep cold. I'm 5'4" and got the petite size. I could fully stretch and point my toes with wriggle room. Its not so big that there were cold spots where my body didn't reach. It is slightly more roomy than some mummy designs, which I appreciate since I move in my sleep a lot. The material is soft to the touch, and cleans easily. It packs down well in a stuff sack. When placed in the sleeping bag compartment of my 65 L internal frame pack, there is extra room for clothes. When I got the sleeping bag, it came with a stuff sack but it did NOT come with a compression sack.

I highly recommend this sleeping back. It is well priced, compact, and high quality. There is generally a slimmer selection for women's sleeping bags, and I am glad I was able to find a reasonably priced synthetic backpacking bag that is correctly sized for myself.

Women's Traditional Synthetic Mummy Bag

A take anywhere, sleep well every time sleeping bag that is insulated all around with a cozy fill and a roomier mummy shape than a traditional design. Lightweight enough to stuff in your pack for cooler weather overnights but comfortable enough you'll want to snuggle up in it year round. This bag is versatile and so comfortable you'll want to take it on every outing.

Great Bag

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is a great sleeping bag. I used it in 35 degree weather and 50 degree weather and was super warm! It is light and easily compresses into the stuff sack. Would highly recommend!!

A Solid Choice

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This bag is overall a pretty great choice for warmer weather camping. I prefer a synthetic bag as the synthetic does dry faster and handles wet, damp conditions a bit better than traditional down. It is a tad heavier than a comparable down bag but again, I don't mind the extra weight as I do like its ability to handle moisture. When buying Big Agnes bags, the traditional mummy bags like this one are insulated on the bottom while their Big Agnes System bags have a sleeve for their sleeping pads to slide in. The traditional mummy bags are more insulated on the bottom which I prefer to the Big Agnes System bags that are thinner on the bottom as they have that sleeve for a sleeping pad. Overall, this bag is a great bag for those camping trips in warmer conditions!

My wife loves this bag!

My wife loves this bag and the features it offers. Very warm, and relatively light for a synthetic insulation bag. Thanks Backcountry!
