At the forefront of safety and style.

The Bern Kids' Diablo Helmet is designed for pre-teens who've outgrown their kids' helmet but aren't quite big enough for adult models. Bright colors and a low-profile aesthetic eliminate the dork factor, meaning your kid will actually want to wear it. Inspired by Bern's popular Macon Helmet, the Diablo features EPS Thin Shell technology for a lightweight, yet incredibly strong helmet. Ultimately, this technology gives younger riders the certified impact protection needed for rapid skill progression. Upper airflow vents prevent overheating during warmer summer months. Plus, Bern offers a separately available winter liner for hitting the slopes and cycling in colder months.

    Great helmets!

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought two of these for my 4 (S), and 6 (M) year old nephews. They're cute, and well made. I think they might be a little big for them (the description lists these helmets as pre teen, and the box says 'tween' on it), but even if they are they'll be able to wear them soon! Initial impressions are great! :)

    Good little helmet

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought this for my 2 year old son, who has a massive 21" head. The dimensions on the helmet indicate it should fit him, but yet it's still a little too big. Luckily, he's not doing anything crazier than zipping around on a strider in the driveway. I would have preferred a more snug fit though.
