    Great tech/tactical pants!

These pants are a new version of my old favorites from Berghaus. Super durable, yet lightweight fabric can get rubbed up against trees and rocks and not show a single sign of wear! The DWR finish keeps them clean for days at camp, you can just wipe off spills etc. The hand pockets are mesh so they don't add bulk or heat when you're out and about and the "change pocket" in the right side hand pocket is great for chapstick or a folder knife. The Dual cargo pocket is great for stashing items you don't want to lose as well as the open top pocket fits my pocket holster perfectly and you can't tell anything is in there much less a subcompact .45. I don't use the back pocket much but I'm glad it's there and that it's mesh; keeps the butt sweat down to a minimum. The draw cord at the leg openings is nicely stowed away so you don't step on it and end up with "Leggo pain" but still easily accessible when you wanna cinch them closed to keep out bugs. Belt loops are good quality, double stitched webbing (not the same fabric as the pants). And they accommodate my 2" belt comfortably. As long as I don't get too close to campfires I expect these to last for years!
