I am not joking when I say, aside from my climbing shoes, this has been my most-used item I've gotten from backcountry. At first I was like "hmm, leather iphone-case-wallet-thing..sounds nice". Then it swooned me quicker than Prince Charming on a first-date.
This has completely eradicated my use of a purse. It has a slot for cards, a pocket for my phone, and a couple other little nooks and crannies. At all times, this has my credit cards, drivers license, cell phone, and some gum. I mean, what more does a girl need?
But my favorite part about it is its weather-proofed leather and water-resistant zipper. Seriously, the people who designed this thing are brilliant. Living in Seattle, you learn that rain seems to find its way into just about EVERYTHING (even my Goretex running jacket..). I throw my phone in this and pack it in my jacket pocket for long hikes in the rain, or trail runs in the forrest. It's a great added protective layer for both falls (I'm as clumsy as a baby giraffe), and that pesky precipitation. Which means I can focus LESS on my $700 phone and MORE on the fact that I can't-breathe-because-I'm-out-of-shape when on the trails.
This case also comes in handy while climbing. It's the perfect size to fit right in my chalk bucket, and it keeps my phone chalk-free. It also alleviates the need to keep your purse/valuables in your car while hitting the crag. I just pack my ID and monies in my case and bring it with me.
I have the slate color, which is a little darker than pictured. The size is great: just slightly larger than the iPhone 6, allowing your phone to slide in/out without excessive prying, but not too large that it takes up even more space than the bite-sized iPad (errr, iPhone) already does.
I'll post some photos soon.
