Hard to beat for the price

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

    Great rope for the price.

Soft and handles well from the beginning.
The untreated sheath seems to "pill" more than I'm used to.

Wasn't sure if I was going to like the yellow but the retro look has grown on me.

    Great Rope, Great Price

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this rope in the yellow 70 meter. I have used 9.1mm up to 10.5mm ropes and I think the 9.8mm is a good in between. It's not too thick and heavy to drag up multi-pitches, but also not so thin that you need a belay device that will accommodate thinner ropes.

I like that it has the middle marker, without the added price of a bi-pattern rope.

Overall, I am really happy with this rope so far. I fell and it caught me (with the help of my belayer), so that's always a good sign.
