Fun.Kink Snowboard

From lapping the park to hitting urban features in the streets, the Bataleon Fun.Kink Snowboard makes easy work of dialing in new tricks and playing around the mountain with its easy-going, twin-like ride.

Twin 3BT profiling provides the baseline for the Fun.Kink's freestyle performance, providing the pre-loaded snap and response of camber, but without the extra bite when you're linking turns and learning new tricks thanks to it's medium uplift on the widest part of the tip and tail. Loaded with a weight saving but responsive Light Core consisting of poplar and paulownia woods, the Fun.Kink ollies over slow signs and clears mid-sized jumps with ease while retaining strength. It features two hollow carbon rods milled into the core for added stability on landings, while giving the camber profile more snap and pop. Another park-friendly feature is the Super Slick X extruded base, which is much denser than a traditional extruded base for greater speed and durability, yet it doesn't require the constant waxing like its sintered counterparts.

  • Freestyle-oriented directional twin for park and all-mountain
  • Mellow camber provides snap and pop for controlled riding
  • Medium flex delivers stability while staying playful in the park
  • 3BT uplifts the tip and tail for added forgiveness and float
  • Light Core consists of poplar and paulownia for lightweight strength
  • Carbon rods are milled in the core for extra pop and stability
  • Biax laminate keeps the flex torsionally soft for a forgiving feel
  • Extruded base is easy to maintain and repair for seasons of use

3BT + Sidekick = SUPER forgiving

I've used it several times

I bought this board to learn to improve my switch riding and to improve my jibbing and buttering. Absolutely love it. Compared to an all-mountain board (like the GNU Finest) it is WAY more forgiving. I could tell there were a few times when I would have caught an edge on any other board but this board is super forgiving due to the 3BT and Sidekick. I am 6', 198lb, size 10 shoe and I went with the 154. I rode it in Jackson Hole and took it on everything from blues to blacks. In soft snow it feels floaty. On hard snow you will notice you cannot hit hard carves while you are charging (especially more difficult on heel side carves unless you really know what you're doing).. Don't buy this if you want to charge down groomers over and over - that's what an all-mountain board is for. This is a board for either beginner riders, or advanced park riders that like to jib and butter and hit medium size jumps. Overall this is an amazing and forgiving party board. If you pair this with a freeride/powder board you will have everything you need for any condition.
