CT Snowboard

From teeth-chatteringly fast groomer runs to surfy pow dyas that dreams are made of, the Bataleon CT Snowboard guides you to all-mountain fun all season long with incredible control and unbelievable float. Its unique directional tapered shape, POW 3BT outline, and medium-soft flex comprise just some of the tools that make the CT a versatile shred stick for powerful ripping in any zone, and in any condition.

Starting with the Pow 3BT outline, the CT is designed with a narrow centerbase and maximum uplift with SideKick in the large nose, which floats like a dream when turning in powder, while the mellow camber maintains power and stability for confident edge-to-edge control on less than ideal snow. This mellow camber is backed up by the Dual Super Tubes—two hollow carbon rods milled into the bottom of the core—to enhance pop and give the board more snap. Swiss paulownia and poplar woods blend in the Light Core for an optimal strength-to-weight ratio, and the traditional biax weave of fiberglass is light, strong, and responsive for liveliness without adding torsional stiffness. Bataleon finished it off with a greasy-fast, tough Super Slick X extruded base that rips through flat spots and ensure minimal maintenance hassle.

  • Directional all-mountain board for groomers, powder, and beyond
  • Medium-soft flex promotes a fun, surfy, yet powerful feel
  • POW 3BT profile caters toward float in pow without catchiness
  • Lightweight dual-wood core is strong without the bulk
  • Hollow carbon rods bolster powerful pop and snappiness
  • Extruded base holds up through tough abuse
  • Biax wrap maintains a responsive feel without being overly stiff

Best Powder Board

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Rode the 2018 Bataleon CT on a 3 foot powder day at Crystal Mt and it was the most fun I have had on a snowboard. I have only rode one other directional board in the pow and the CT floats effortlessly and can turn on a dime. The 3BT in the nose really helps keep it above the snow, there were a few times were I though I was going to tomahawk but that nose will not let you go over. The two humps in the tail really help you grab and keep stability at high speeds when leaning back, and the tail isn't flat so you can even ride switch and not feel like it will get caught under the snow. If you like going fast and carving down the slopes this is the board for you!

The best powder board you will ever ride

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I am still riding my 2013 Bataleon CT, the board is extremely durable and the board gets better and better the more you break it in. If it snows more than 6 inches you will want to be on the CT because the powder oriented Triple Base Tech feels like a surfboard. This is the first directional board I have ridden that truly keeps you on top of the snow and also allows you to submarine and comeback up on top, so say goodbye to leaning all the way back on your twin tip with the CT. The half crescent moon shaped tail makes your pow sprays spiral behind you. If it snows two feet over night at Mt. Baker I will be riding my CT.
