    Choose your own adventure.

Where you take the Basin and Range 30 Degree Synthetic Uinta Sleeping Bag is up to you, so whether you find yourself camped on a mountain ridge, alpine meadow, or desert canyon, know that this hard-wearing bag will keep you warm and cozy, even if it happens to get a little wet. Ideal for warmer weather trips, its high-loft synthetic fill assures warmth when temperatures drop just below freezing, and it won't clump and lose insulating properties if it happens to get wet. The bag maintains a heat-efficient mummy shape and is supported by an insulated draft tube to prevent cold drafts from seeping through. When it's time to pack up camp and head towards the next adventure, throw the bag in the included stuff sack and hit the trail.

    Warm and worth the money

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Love the color selection on basin and range sleeping bags and this one especially is a great three season bag that keeps you warm. I like how far it zips up since I tend to get cold while camping. Also, I like the inside zipper compartment to store little items so you don't loose or misplace them . I like the softer more durable material that is by the head and feet and keeping the bag comfortable and soft. The only slight issue I ran into was the zipper catching a few times but nothing major and still a great bag.

    Best night of sleep outdoors!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I took this sleeping bag on a backpacking overnighter recently and I can honestly say that it was the best night of sleep I have ever had outdoors. That may have been influenced by the fact that I was exhausted from the hike in, but this bag was very comfortable. My favorite part of this sleeping bag was the interior material at the head and feet. Other mummy bags I have used in the past have had the same slick polyester material throughout the whole bag, but the Uinta 30 has a material that is more similar to a blanket at the head and feet of the interior of the bag. This is great for keeping you warm where there is the potential to get a little chilly in the night. The sleeping bag can also zip from the top or the bottom, allowing you to open up the foot area in the night if you get a little toasty. I am kind of tall, and was pushing the limits of this bag. I think this bag would be a great fit for somebody who is 6'0 or smaller, but you can still make it work if you are a little taller. The compressed size was fine for backpacking. It doesn't pack down as small as the Basin and Range La Sal 0 Degree Down bag, but it was still up for the challenge. Great job Basin and Range.

    Amazingly Comfortable

This bag kept me nice and toasty all night long even my feet were kept nice and warm! not to mention it is in general just comfortable and well worth the price tag!

    Amazing 3 season bag

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The basin and range sleeping bags are great quality, awesome color patterns, and pack down pretty small. I bought a couple to re-up on our sleeping bag reserves recently, and put them to use right away. Happy about the selection.

    Great 3 season Bag

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this for camping and first used it a couple weeks ago at a pretty rustic hut out in Central Colorado. It was toasty warm and I appreciate how far down the zipper went for those 3am hot feet situations.
