    See you soon.

Convincing yourself to crawl out of your sleeping bag when your breath lingers in the air and frost clings to the walls of your tent can be tough, and the plush interior of the Basin and Range La Sal 0 Degree Down Sleeping Bag doesn't make the transition a whole lot easier. Luckily, the La Sal will be ready and waiting once the sun sets again with its light and compressible 650-fill down that is treated with a water-resistant finish to repel moisture when frost and dew attempts to make the bag a soggy mess. The rough-and-tumble nylon material is also treated with a PFC-free DWR to repel moisture for added protection from wear, tear, and wetness when you decide to ditch the tent and sleep out under the open night sky. A multi-baffle hood keeps plenty of insulation around the head and ears, and the addition of an interior draft tube prevents precious body heat from escaping when you're winter camping or backpacking high above treeline.

    Awesome for the money

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

My first time using this bag I was warm down to about 40 degrees. Below that, it got pretty cold (but I think that is more due to my lack of camping knowledge than the bag itself). Stay tuned for an improved run #2...

    Excellent Zero Bag

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

One of the best zero bags for the price! Well-made, did not shed a lot of down through use, and kept me warm in freezing desert temperatures! The material is soft and comfortable. It could be more packable, but for the price it is very warm, and did not feel particularly heavy. 3lbs for a zero down bag is awesome. I felt like I had room to move around, and did not sweat in the night in ~20 degree temperatures, so the breathability has been wonderful too. For a well priced, light, and breathable zero bag- this is the way to go!

    My go to bag

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I run cold, so I love using a zero degree bag, even in the summer. I've used this on some high elevation, early summer camping trips and it was super comfortable. I love that it's light enough that I can use it for the occasional backpacking trip, but it's still comfortable in cushy car camping situations.

    Human Toaster

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I've only used it a couple times, whereas I don't usually like winter camping. I had my initial hesitations whereas its so lightweight, but with the 650-down fill, I've stayed plenty warm. I'm very impressed with how compact it stuffs! My only complaint is that it doesn't have a right vs left zipper options, but that's quite trivial compared to how warm and comfy it is. If you have questions about this bag, feel free to contact me directly!

    Comfortable and Warm Sleeping Bag

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have only used this sleeping bag a couple of times but absolutely love it! It is very comfy and a good height for me anyways. I was kind of cautious when buying it since it is a newer model and not a lot of reviews have been written on it yet, but I got it and am highly satisfied with my purchase. I have used it in 10 degree or less and I was really warm, I was also using a sleeping liner but with those two put together I was really warm when I woke up. This was when there was snow outside and I was staying inside a tent. I thought I was so cautious of being cold but I was so happy that I stayed warm.
I am going to buy a compress sack with this sleeping bag, it can stuff down a little bit more then the bag it came with. I also think the bag it came with is a little bit bigger then the sizing it says but when I buy a compress sack it will be smaller then the stuff sack size rating.
This is also my first time using down and I love it! The bag also stayed dry when there was the dew in the morning.

    No longer traveling without it

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've had a synthetic summer bag for quite a long time now and finally just realized how much I needed this. Purchased for more backcountry excursions in the winter and I cannot believe how light, warm, and packable this thing is. Amazing you get a free stuff sack.
