The Wife: Got this dress for family photos outdoors in the winter and it didn't disappoint. I was nice and warm throughout the whole session. I think it'd look better on a tall and slender body type instead of short and slightly stocky but otherwise it was a beautiful dress and I felt great it in!

I want to like this but it just wasn't a good fit for me. Notice where it hits the model's hands in the sleeves? I'm 5'7, 120lbs and usually wear an XS. The XS sleeves hit above about an inch above my hand. I could have just scrunched the sleeves up. The length though was also pretty short on me. I tried to the Small instead but then it was just too baggy in the mid section.

Wore this dress for the first time today. It shed like crazy! And the pilling occurred all over the dress. WHAT A MESS! I’m so very disappointed in the quality and would never recommend this purchase. :-(

Good quality, but not for my body type

I think this dress is made for someone with an hourglass figure and a long neck. The fabric and workmanship were good quality. However, the mock turtleneck is just a little too tall to be considered "mock", and its too thick to fold down. The top portion of the dress is a little too roomy for how thick the fabric is (I'm a 36C). I could have gotten away with it, but I was looking for something a little more form-fitting.

This is a really lovely choice! I would give it 5 stars, I should give it 5 stars, ok it's getting 5 stars. My only hesitation was how much it shrank, but that's related to understanding how to wash and care for wool. So maybe look that up before washing this dress. Though it runs a bit large, I'd also maybe buy it larger for this reason. Looks really cute over leggings. The arms can be a little short in cut if you have long arms like I do. High quality wool, thick and warm, very flattering. I get many compliments in this dress.

This dress has a flattering fit without being too tight. The wool is a little itchy at first, but after one wash I haven't noticed it again. Additionally, it is a truly warm sweater dress that is perfect for cold winter days!

Hey John, Our model is 5'9 and wears a small in the shoot. If you are typically an XS in a brand like Prana a Small would probably be the better fit in Basin and Range. I'm sorry the fit wasn't right for you going up to the small - perhaps something like item #HOR00IJ would be a better length overall for you.
