I really wanted to like this coat, but the cut just wasn’t very flattering. It’s just very straight and was not made for someone with a curvaceous body. It fit just fine around my chest and shoulders, but wouldn’t even close further down. You can pull the drawstring at the waist (it’s hidden on the inside of the coat) to add a little shape, but I didn’t like the way it made the coat look. I bought a 12 in a different style coat from Barbour, and it was actually a little on the loose side for me yet not u comfortably big. This coat I couldn’t even zip up! I love the color and the pocket design. As most coats of this style, it is very lightweight and really isn’t going to keep you very warm. If I go a size up, it’s going to be too big on the shoulders and around the chest, so I’m going to have to say au revoir to this design. Basically this coat is good if you’re very skinny or big all over. No room for in between.
