This boot is so well made it will last a lifetime! The tread is perfect for our sometimes icy driveway in Colorado, and the inner boot lining is warm and durable. Be sure to order 1 to 2 sizes up, however, as the lining makes it too snug to go with your normal sizes. Great product!

Pros: really grippy soles, even on ice; easy on/off; tall sides are great for deep snow; easy on/off is convenient; comfortable and not too heavy. Cons: these are warm but if temp is really low or you're out in the elements for a long time and not active, I've needed to supplement with toe warmers. Not a big deal and I suppose the upside is my feet haven't over heated unless it's pretty warm. I usually wear 11-12 depending on the brand, but sized up to 13 based on other reviews and it was a good call. At first I thought 13 might be too small but once I got used to getting these on/off with the tall sides it felt just right. I'd buy again. My 9 year old son has a similar Baffin pair of boots and loves them and they keep his feet warm in all sorts of weather in Central and Northern Wisconsin.

I bought these boots after moving to Fairbanks, AK last year. I tried them on at a local outfitter along with about a dozen other boots. The Baffin Wolf was the clear winner. They're easy to don and doff. The straps adjust easily to create a snug fit and they don't require much dexterity to unclasp. The boots are surprisingly lightweight but very sturdy, durable, incredibly warm, and comfortable. The upper is tall and the drawcord prevents snow from entering so there's no need to wear a gaiter. I've used them for trekking through a foot of snow and while ice fishing--they've performed impeccably and far exceeded my expectations.

Used two days at the Montreal snow festival. Walked several miles each day in snow covered streets and through the festival park. Temperatures from 1-29F and 4" of snow. Feet were always warm and dry. Boot was comfortable. I like the strap clips for easy on/off. I wear a size 10 sneaker, bought a size 11 based on some reviews. Fit was ok with heavy socks but I think a size 10 would have been perfect. I would recommend these boots for anyone looking to spend some time outdoors in the cold.

Toe box was WAY too small, could not keep these things on. I ordered my regular size, which is perfect with Asolo, Lowa, Salomon, Ecco, amongst others.

Awesome for ice fishing

We were heading to the Winnipesaukee Ice Fishing Derby and I needed some super warm boots for my 12 year old twins. I ordered these with fingers crossed. The boots were comfortable and warm all day as my boys fished.

Super Warm Boot!

These boots are comfortable right out of the box; no break-in period needed. I have worn these in -11? and feet were still warm. What else more can I say.

Hi Scott! These boots are not waterproof. They are meant to be worn in snow or ice and are temp rated to -40. The have a snow flap to keep the snow out and your feet dry but if you are wearing these in slushy or rainy conditions it will not work.
