Why We Like The Baffin Impact Snow Boot
Whether we're hunting or ice fishing, the Baffin Impact Snow Boot keeps our toes toasty while we're standing still. The removable inner boot features multiple insulating layers from foam to wool to a reflective membrane, while the waterproof outer boot and cinching collar stop the snow and ice from coming in. When we're on the move, a moisture-managing layer wicks away sweat and dries off quick, ensuring our feet stay dry. Plus, with the sole's tread immune to the cold, it gives us reliable traction in sub-zero temps.

Toasty, and they fit true to size

I was nervous as there were a lot of reviews indicating these ran too small. I wear a14, and that was the largest. Wear them a little while before you judge their size! The VERY thick liner compresses all surfaces of your foot and it feels like they are too short at first. I put the liner on my foot and there was almost 3 cm from where my toe was to the tip of the liner. After wearing the boots for about 30 minutes, it was clear that the fit was fine. I was outside in -14F, and my feet were warm and comfortable for several hours. These boots are fantastic!

clunky but effective for the right use

I purchased these boots looking for the warmest winter boots i could find for winter camping and snowshoeing, etc. My toes and fingers get cold fairly quickly. I ended up retuning the boots. They arrived and they are HUGE. super clunky. which would have been ok but the fit was a little weird in my heal. my heal would just slide up and down in the back of the boot when i tried walking around the house. if they had better fit in the heal i probably would have kept these as they are monsters and probably great it if you are outside in cold weather without tons of movement. the reviews say it runs small and to get a size up but the heal space has no support and may be out of proportion.

warmest boot i've every owned
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times

I bought these boots for November deer hunting in upstate NY. Sitting in a tree stand for hours on end, in frigid temps, has to be one of the best tests for a hunting boot. While these boots are not technically hunting boots, they were recommended to me by some other hunters that I have a lot of respect for and I value their opinions. After a week in the woods, with conditions down to -5 fahrenheit, I can honestly say that these were the warmest boots i've ever owned. My standard boot for upstate NY tree stand hunting is made by Muck and is rated at below -30 fahrenheit. The difference is not even close. The Baffin Impact snow boot is far and away superior in warmth. Not even close. The only negatives are; It doesn't come in camo, and the sizes run small so you need to size up one full size. There's one nice side benefit to this boot that I also really appreciated; they're super easy to get off. My Muck hunting boots are a pain in the butt to get off, but the Baffin's slip off like slippers!
