    Easy to inflate, Stable SUP

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The SUP itself is fantastic. It inflates easily and very quickly with the double action pump included with it. It's large enoughto feel very stable, and I love the water bottle/velcro storage sleeve on the top. The fin is great, and I love the way it cuts through the water. Time will tell on longevity, but it seems rugged, enough for me to take out on rocky rivers and lakes.
The entire process of taking out of the bag and inflating was much easier than I anticipated. It inflates fairly quickly, within 5 minutes, and doesn't require too much strength. The deflation was super easy, and it rolls back into the bag no problem! I would give 5 stars if the carry bag didn't seem so flimsy, and if the wheels actually worked.

    First Paddle Board

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This was my first time using a paddle board. This was easy to inflate and pack up. It was great on the lake. If your new to paddle boards this is a good one to start with. Packs up pretty well and fit in the back of my Rav4.

    Great SUP

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've used a good number of SUPs in my day and really liked the tracking on this one for the flat water I've taken it on so far. The shape is super nice for tracking and cutting the water but my dog would have liked a better platform to sit on. He likes to be at the very end of the bow.

I liked that the fins were integrated - no parts to lose on them but for some of the rivers I run it's nice to have the option to take them off. They're not as long as some other boards where they come off. The backpack carry on this is just okay with the hip belt. There are no compression straps or rails on the back (because there are no wheels) the carry can still feel a bit wobbly compared to some other brands I've used.

    Great SUP

    Fast!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I took this paddleboard out with my wife and was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight and speedy it is. I have a Boardworks (not sure what size, but definitely bigger than this) and not only was this paddleboard faster on the water, it was also quicker to inflate. The surface is soft on the feet but still grippy, so I had no problem maneuvering over choppy waves when the wind picked up.

Great Design - Even Better Paddle

Loved the paddle board and the reviews below speak for itself. What I want to talk about even more is the adaptable paddle that comes along with it. You can pack it away and store it in the bag. It can flex to any size human and allows you to paddle from your knees. The SUP is great - no complaints and will get you what you want from any water setting. The paddle it comes with just makes sense and adds value to an already great product. Well Done Badfish

Best all around board in its Class

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Flat water, river trips, family paddling...this board does it all. An excellent board at a great price. I love that it comes as a package with a paddle and everything you need to get on the water. Its the perfect size for just about anyone and its a very nice paddling inflatable board. I was impressed with the construction and the stiffness of the board overall. Absolutely worth the price!

      A must for the Quiver

This is a super versatile board that belongs in every paddlers quiver. At a 11 feet it is pretty fast board for touring. Plus, it can hold a lot of volume so it is perfect for multi day adventures. It also makes for a great travel partner. With the backpack and some straps it packs down and counts as one piece of luggage. Tropical or urban paddles are the best way to explore an area. I like the molded fins. They work great for the river up to class 2.

        All Around Magic

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This board is the one board quiver for most paddlers. The length, width, stability, and speed make it great for the ocean, the lake, the river, and whitewater. The ample space on the nose and the deck bungees all you to take everything you need for an all-day adventure. This is my go-to teaching board and the board I recommend to rental outfitters when they hire me for operations consulting. If all that wasn't enough the water bottle holder is just plain genius.

The One Board to Rule Them All!

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This board is the most used board in my quiver. From training on flat water to paddling the local whitewater stretch near me, it's versatility is endless. It's the one board I recommend and loan out the most. I've traveled with it, surfed it, and have taken it through the wringer and still surprised to how well it's held up. I definitely recommend the Monarch as a "MUST HAVE" sup if you're looking to get into the sport. It's worth every penny and then some!

        One and done

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is one of my favorite boards I have. It goes with me on every one of my paddling trips because I can use for everything from whitewater to long distance flat-water paddling. It has a beautiful shape that glides really well on the water. You cant beat that built in water bottle holder either, its an amazing attribute to an already amazing board. Another thing I really love about the Monarch is it's 5

        king of the quiver

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have been an avid stand up paddler since the sport first came inland around 2010, and have owned multiple shapes, sizes, and styles of paddleboards. The "Monarch" model from Badfish is more than suitable for almost all the conditions I paddle in. Really shines as a board to cruise around a lake or harbor, and also does well in mellow whitewater. At 11' x 34", it's wide enough for me to lend out to complete beginners, but it has an outline that is tapered and glides well. I bought mine in early 2018, and it held up really well through a summer's full of frequent use. Solid quality. Happy with my purchase!

        My favorite all arounder

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This board is my favorite all around tool for paddling rivers, lakes and in the ocean. It glides well, but its stable enough for me to paddle my local class II river run on it. When I go to the coast I can paddle and explore off the board and still catch the occasional ankle biter. Great all around platform.
