Wolverine Cirque is an epic basin located in the backcountry between two of Utah’s world-renowned ski resorts, and it’s home to 16 of the steepest, tightest chutes in the Wasatch Range. Skiing all 16 in a single day is the stuff of Backcountry Gearhead dreams, and doing so would require ambition, tenacity, and a collection of technically advanced, performance-oriented, and backcountry-specific ski clothing. We can't help with the former two qualities, but we designed gear like the Wolverine Cirque Hybrid Insulated Jacket to meet the gear requirements. It's our go-to midlayer for highly aerobic activities—like, say, skinning and skiing 16 chutes a day.
To make an insulator worthy of such a grandiose tour, we designed this hybrid jacket with a combination of weather-resistant materials, moisture-managing fleece panels, and innovative insulation with incredible breathability and stretch. Unlike standard synthetic insulators, 3DeFX+ insulation mirrors your every movement to maintain warmth and reduce the chance of cold spots appearing over time. We wrapped this innovative insulation in a stretch-woven, water-resistant shell to shed snowfall on the 14th boot pack of the day, and the fleece paneling wicks moisture away in areas you’re likely to sweat most while moving fast.

Great Jacket

I really like this jacket. Great for winter activities or just around town. I overheat really easily but the mix of insulated and stretch material prevents that when exercising. The fit is true to size, I bought a XXL (6ft, 250lbs). I?ve lost a bunch of weight recently. Any idea if these will come back into stock? I would buy a smaller size for sure if so. Thanks.

Purchased this jacket as an insulation layer under my shell as well as something to wear around town and on the plane for ski excursions. Comfy, lightweight and looks great. Warmer than my R2 and comparable to a Patagonia Nano at half the cost. Great buy.

I love a garment with incorporated thumb holes! When I first received the jacket I was bummed the hood wasn?t adjustable BUT it is! It adjusts from behind(the crown area of your head) it?s different but adjusts so perfectly! I love this jacket.

Great jacket!
Use this for late season hunts. The beetle color came more green than the picture looked, but no worries. Very light, very warm, good in snow. Highly recommend!
