Why We Built The Backcountry Tricot Peak Tech Hoodie
We snag snowy summits layered in our Backcountry Tricot Peak Tech Hoodie. The cotton performance blend is tough against the elements, brushing off spindrift and resisting tears against rock, as it holds in warmth and wicks away sweat while we push to the peak. We cinch the hood over our head and slip the built-in mask over our face to stop icy alpine winds from chapping our ears and nose. Nice mid weight for layering

I wore this skiing in stormy conditions as a mid weight layer. The shell provided the wind protection, I used the hood under the helmet and used the built in mask. The entire combination works well as I can streamline by not bringing a separate hat and face mask. I found that the arms were normal size for me so the thumb holes are pointless

Best hoodie of the past few years

Can't say enough good things about this hoodie. I hope it stay in the line. I have a few colors in it. Great fit that is true to size or just slightly big. Moves well with body movement. Tons of zippered pockets and small details. I will say I have modded all of mine and cut out the face cover. Not hard to do though.

Ordered medium...Should have gotten a large. But I ordered an XL, after return and it's even more perfect. Tighten that area to get your head through. And the right type of bagginess for a border

This product exceeded expectations, very warm with the built in gaiter to stop drafts by the neck. I also like the extra up front pocket. Will buy again.

The zippered kangaroo pocket and neck gaiter are nice features. Though I don't foresee using the ear-straps on the gaiter to keep it up over my face, the gaiter did help keep my neck warm / trap body heat during a early morning hike. My only issue is with the cut (a minor problem). This is listed as regular fit, but at 5'11 and 150 pounds, the small is snug through the shoulders and baggy through the waist. This is a hoodie, not a coat; however, given the draw cords on the hood, it would have been nice to cinch up the waist as well (or have some elastic in the waist).
