Great on a cruise, 80-85 temps

This shirt ended up being a daily wear on a week long cruise! Temps were 80-85, mild breezes, and after getting sun burnt the first day I kept covered with this shirt the rest of the trip. This lightweight long sleeve shirt was a FAR more comfortable option to the sticky yucky sunscreen feeling and the sun still hitting your skin. I never felt hot walking around in port (only a bra under it) or sitting on a beach (over a swimsuit). I also wore it on a scuba boat between dives. It seemed to hold up to saltwater without any discoloration and dried quickly. I came back to order another after my trip and leave this happy review!

Lookin clean after 3,000 miles

I wore this shirt for my Continental Divide Trail thru hike. It was comfortable and adapted well to conditions from the chihuanhuan desert to the snowy san juan mountains. I rocked this everyday for 5 months and I have got to say I'm very happy with it. It did stretch out but it did not wear through at my backpack straps which is a common problem. It washes up so nice despite being a light color. I even got complemented on how clean my shirt looked. 10/10 recommend and I will be using this shirt (well, a new one) for any future long distance hikes.

Great but maybe a bit thick

Medium

These are really great shirts and will definitely protect you from the sun. I've worn mine several times, including camping and hiking in 90F, dry heat. They do a nice job wicking away the sweat but are a bit thicker than other sunshirts like the Patagonia Capilene Cool Daily or Black Diamond Alpenglow Pro. They are comfortable to wear next-to-skin (not scratchy by any means) but don't expect a silky feeling like the shirts I mentioned above. Ref: 5'5", 135lbs, 29" waist, 30" hips, 34B, climber.

Worn once and already peeling

I took it out for a day on the water paddling. By the time I got back to my car it was all worn and peeling. I washed it as recommended and it peeled some more. The material is woven, so it’s come loose already. I like the fit, and the color I bought the green. Feels nice on and isn’t too hot. But man I wish it were better quality. I’m bummed since it was sorta pricey.

Bought this sun shirt and wore it so much I needed a second one. I have one that is REI brand that is not breathable at all, but this one is perfect. The small holes let enough air in when you're hot but the fabric is thick enough to keep you warm when it's cold

I bought this sun hoodie in the color Ashley Blue when it was on sale (30% off). I purchased it in a size Small when I'm usually in between a Small and Medium. I'm really happy with it, but it is just a couple of things away from being perfect. So I don't know if I would've kept it if it were full price. It's thin but slightly thicker than my other sun hoodie from patagucci--decently thin but could be thinner. Also, I've only worn it once while rock climbing and the fabric around the seam above the right armpit frayed (my guess is from friction against my daypack shoulder strap)... so it's not as durable as I would like either. But for the sale price I'm okay with these minor defects.

I always thought that the less you wear, the cooler you'd be and that sun shirts would always make things warmer. I stand corrected! I love this shirt because it doesn't make you overheat and fits like a glove. The thumb holes are a nice bonus and the material is very light and breathable. No itchy seams. Comfy enough to wear anywhere!

Absolutely love the top and the hoodie feature. My disappointment comes from the fact the top doesn't release body odor. I have used the top for single day hikes only, washing after each use and I can't get the under arm odor out no matter what I do. I've never had this problem before with my cotton or wool tops. I would return if I could.

Such a great hoodie to throw on for a hike! It's super light and keeps my skin completely protected from the sun which is a must if I don't want to re-apply sunscreen every 15 minutes. Obsessed!

Goes Everywhere!

This light, airy, hoody is with me during high-output t or slow chillin' time outside. Whether on the trail--hiking, walking, running, at the beach, or on the river fly fishing, it's my #1 sun hoody/light layer. It's made it through an ultra trail marathons and the training half and full marathons--no regrets. The 50+ UPF rating keeps sun protection easy. The color selection is spot-on and I'll admit, I have a few of them. The fit: I have a the earlier version of this which is a little baggier than the current design cut. I prefer this newer mildly athletic fit--performance with room to move and keep the airflow going, and it's flattering. If you're between sizes, and you prefer slightly more relaxed, then go with the larger of your 2 sizes. Last callout, I prefer this simple design--no ties or cords, zippers and no pockets works for me as I prefer to keep the little extras in my lightweight pack or running vest and not bobbing in my lightweight hoody. Perhaps a hidden, small zip pocket to stash a card would be a cool extra but since "stash pockets" are in plenty these days, it's not an issue for me.
