    Comfy but long

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 6
    • Height: 5'2"
    • Weight: 130lbs

I really wanted to keep these pants because they are really comfortable and I loved the mid-rise, however, they were about 5 inches too long on my 29" inseam. Since they have a zip at the bottom, I decided not to get them hemmed. But, they fit my athletic build really well, and would fit someone taller than 5'2"!

So much for not stretching out

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Size Bought: 8
    • Height: 5'9"
    • Weight: 155lbs

I bought these hoping to get a pair of pants that wouldn't bag out by midday, but so far I'm disappointed, especially for $90. Maybe I just should have gone down a size, but this morning they fit fine. Now the waist and butt are a baggy unattractive mess and I keep having to pull them up. The knees are doing alright though which is something! I would buy a size down, but the calf accent is already a bit tight, and I worry they'll fit everywhere else but the extra stitches at the calf will dig in. If you've got thick thighs and tiny calves, maybe these pants are for you, but I'm not a fan.

    Pants

Runs small. I usually wear between 4 and 6 but had to go with an 8 on these pants. They ankle tightness is great but it has a weird seem around the calf. Pockets are deep and would like to see the goat logo more distinguished on the pants. Color scheme is great.

    SO comfortable, and well made

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These pants are great. As someone who is often between a regular and tall in pants, these are the perfect length! They are surprisingly well made, and the zipper at the bottom is adorable/make them a little more stylish. Most importantly, they are incredibly comfortable! I bought 1 size up given other reviews, but after wearing them for 1 day they had stretched out in the butt/hamstring area, and waist. They still look good, and i'll still wear them, but i'm guessing they're going to continue to stretch out as time goes on so I'm glad I reordered in my my normal size! (5'7 125#, usually wear a 4). I bought the green--it's a perfect, muted olive/fatigue neutral.

    Second time's a charm!

I ordered the green color in my regular size a while back, but ended up returning them because I found them to run very small. I just re-ordered the midnight color a size up, and although they're still very tight I'm really loving them. I'd describe them as jeggings. It almost feels like you're wearing a yoga pant. Definitely size up, but these are great!

    Great fit!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 2
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 110lbs

Great fit for athletic builds! I have thighs and a butt from mountain biking but a small waist- it is such a struggle finding pants that fit without being huge around my waist. These are perfect. Stretchy and still snug and no need for a belt! LOVE!

    Great fit, greater pockets

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 140lbs

Love the fit, but the color is definitely an olive green as opposed to the brown/tan shown in pics. I have long legs and pants are always too short -- these are perfect! And the (front) pockets are MASSIVE! Like, can fit whole hand and wrist in them, massive. Since when do women's pants have functional pockets? L-O-V-E it.

    These pants are wonderful.
The stretch and mid-thickness of the fabric make these ideal for a myriad of activities. You can wear these climbing, going to the bar, or walking around town with ease. I also am pretty picky when it comes to pocked placement on the bum area, and these are flattering and still retain useful depth to fit your cell-phone and keys, etc. The zipper detailing on the bottom cuff area slightly dresses these up to be worn in more social settings. These are my one-quiver pants when I'm traveling and want to go light on the clothes I pack. Love 'em!

Has potential - go up a size

Backcountry is on the right track with these but they missed the mark a bit, in my opinion. The fabric is soft and the stretch makes these very comfortable. The higher waist (not quite waist high, but they do not hug your hip bones) was fantastic and the pockets are perfectly deep on the front! The length was great and the zipper at the hem is a nice little detail. Where it failed is in the sizing and the construction around the calf. These are a size small, I normally wear a size 6 in most pants, but I sized up to an 8 after getting some feedback from a friend. That didn't completely bother me, but what ultimately made me decide these were not for me was the seam they added to the calf. I'm not quite sure the reason for this little detail, but the moment I put them on I was immediately annoyed. It completely hinders the purpose of the stretch material. If you have thicker calves then you probably won't be happy in these pants. The seam across the back of the leg through the calf dug into my muscle and after a day of wearing these, I think I would have a nice red line through my leg. And since I like to sit with legs up or cross-legged most of the day, I think I might even lose a bit of circulation in my lower leg. If they remove that seam or make the seam stretch with the material, these pants would be fantastic. If you have slim calves or if you size up one more size (so if I had gone with a 10 and been satisfied with a looser waist) then you might not have the problem with the seam.

    POCKETS !!!!!!!!

Perhaps my favorite part of this pant is the freaking pockets. They are tight stylish pants but they don't have miniature pockets most designers include on similar styles. Not these. You can fit your dang iphone X plus plus in these suckers and still be able to sit down. I'm serious. I can shove my hand down in the pocket to my wrist. Please refer to this article by Jenn Doll on why this is actually possibly revolutionary: http://theweek.com/articles/778565/what-women-want-pockets

Sizing: If you are ordering based on your size in the Prana Kara jeans please order a size up in these pants. They fit true to size - if you account that some brands use vanity sizing. I typically wear a size 28 in jeans and the 6 is a perfect fit.

Fit: These pants hit mid-waist which is great if you're going to be doing anything active in them at any point. The fit is very skinny. The fabric is decently thick so you don't see any undergarment lines unless you're wearing ones super thick seams. I have a short inseam so they're a little long but because they're tight they don't fall or hang weird. The zipper is just a little curved on the bottom. The knee darts are super nice too and give the pants great movement and shape.

Function: I love these pants for just about anything. I've been hiking with them in the fall. They're probably not great for anything intense, especially in the heat. For climbing with a short approach, in the gym after work, or biking to the bar they're perfect. I wore them to fly last week and they look really nice without feeling uncomfortable sitting for hours. These are seriously soft!

Questions: Shoot me a message at my direct phone line or email listed above!

I just recently ordered these pants and selected my size after reading this review. I order a size 6 (my standard size for Prana), 140lbs/ 5'9". They are uncomfortably snug!! I ordered the midnight color. Maybe the size varies from color to color??

    So Pleasantly Surprised!

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 6
    • Height: 5'4"

Pants are so very hard for me to buy online - they never look quite as good as they do on a tall, skinny model. BUT THESE. These pants are great. They have an incredible stretch to them, are true skinny jeans, the zipper and knee seam details add some personality, and they held their stretch throughout the day. I'm a true 6 in almost every pant, and these fit PERFECTLY from the start.

I'm 5'4 and they're almost too long, and would be hard to hem w/ the ankle zipper. I'd also say that the Olive color is more green (less brown) than the photos above depict - which was a pleasant surprise for me!
