Good but with issues
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- S
- Height:
- 5' 9"
I liked this piece of Sherpa jacket as it's comfy and warm for the fall and winter time. However sizing wise, it runs really large, so downsize if you can (I wear normally M but had to exchange for S). My biggest issue is quality ? it starts to fall apart in many places just after a few months of non daily usage. I think the quality should be really improved.

Sherpa Fleece
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Love this piece. BackCountry has quality gear. This fleece is soft and comfortable as some have mentioned. The insulating properties are exceptional. I primarily use it on an ascent when I stop and want to thrown on a layer. Its additionally great for when you get back to the car, pack away your pack and gear layers, and want to put on something warm and dry for the drive back. Then you can just leave it on....or perhaps sleep in it... One reviewer mentioned the sleeves are large and indeed they are a bit large. This is not a show-stopper for me as this to me goes on over a baselayer and/or softshell and the sleeves being tight would make it harder to put on. Finally, good quality zipper which is super-important. Some other brands which I will not mention use low quality zipper on decent pieces, which is no fun....zipper will fail and it becomes unusuable...or zipper fails on a trip, even worse. Note to BC-buyers: don't ever go cheap on zippers yo. 5 stars.
