Why We Built The Titanal Tour Pro 2 Ski Touring Poles
We tour with the Titanal Tour Pro 2 because it's sturdy and reliable in all backcountry touring scenarios. Mellow powder lines in the trees and epic traverses over steep ridgelines are all in store this season when we're touring with a pole this reliable. We made it out of titanal alloy for superior strength with a surprisingly light weight, and the PowerLock 3.0 adjustment system ensures a no-slip grip. Speaking of grip, the foam grip extends down so we can choke down the pole on skin tracks with everchanging steepnesses.

Junk

Should have read reviews before purchase, but the price was too enticing. Both baskets fell off within a couple days, and they are not standard baskets that can be replaced with generics. I am a fan of backcountry gear, but will think twice about purchasing their branded gear after this one. Poles are in the dump…

Great Poles... Need some more thought.

Just like others that purchased these poles the materials, design and quality of them functions great. The pole baskets are main issue with these. On my second outing with these one of my pole baskets broke off and now I am purchasing replacement pole baskets so I can use this product and paying 3x the cost of the items on shipping..

Great plan poor execution
These were my favorite poles. then I lost my first basket. Seemed like maybe that was okay as I was skiing through lots of manzanita and brush that could have caught it. Then I lost my second. Raiiling a groomer. At least I found that one.

Broke after one day of skiing powder. Stayed intact when skiing groomers, but breaks off the minute you're in deep snow. Seems others have same issue. Please fix.

Basket broke on the first day
Overall the design of the poles is okay, decent size foam grip and the lock mechanism works. However, the basket design is flawed and broke on the first day I skied with them. I would reccomend choosing a differnt pair of poles.
