fits great, but a little itchy

First time ordering merino wool and also from backcountry. the print is very cute, but definitely tight fitting so I'm glad an XS fit me. I would've liked it to be more high waisted but its still cute. the main thing i'm worried about is it's a bit itchy. i'm not sure if it'll bother me while snowboarding. I also purchased a smartwool base layer top and smartwool socks that are thicker, softer, and super comfy on the skin. I bought it on sale, so I think I'll give it a try.

These are my go to for long days on the mountain. I have a hard time staying warm and these do the trick. They are so comfortable and bonus points for being cute too!

Great for skiing

I tried out the bottoms and top for the first time this weekend skiing. It was in the low 30’s, wind blowing and COLD and I was very comfortable with this under my snow pants . I feel true to size and very pretty . Would recommend

True to Size, not shaped for curvy folk

Comfortable, light, cozy fabric, and the wide waistband is nice because it doesn't dig in. The two downsides are: 1) I wish these were longer so I could have a matching set with better coverage and 2) the larger sizes are shaped for rectangular bodies - I ordered the XXL based on hip measurements, and the pants do it but the waist is a bit loose. The fabric isn't quite stretchy enough to size down for a better waist fit.

I love the Spruces Print Merino Baselayer Bottoms for everything from hiking, casual wear, to lounging - and I was thrilled that they added fun prints this year to add to my collection. Bonus points for not being see-through. These wash nicely (I hang dry). As a note on sizing, I own both M and L in this style and although both fit, L is more comfortable (size 10, 30 waist). I only wish they would make the length longer since they fall several inches above my ankle (above my most of my hiking boots as well).

These are very comfortable and instantly warming. I wish they were slightly higher rise, and they probably wouldn't be great for long-legged people because they are perfect on my legs which are somewhat short.
