I received the Tanager Plaid in medium for a Christmas gift and it is now one of my staple wardrobe pieces. I wear constantly, all winter and fall. The cut is flattering without being too tight or boxy. The material has been excellent quality. Backcountry, please continue to make this product! I am buying my second one and look forward to more color options in the next season.

Durability Lacking for Price

I really liked this flannel out of the packaging. The colors were exactly what I was looking for and well represented in the pictures. Soft and cozy material with a perfect relaxed fit. I didn?t find it too boxy, which I sometimes do with flannels. However, it?s not built to last, which is disappointing for the price and because this is created and marketed by an outdoor geared company. I?ve worn it a few times now and I have a giant hole on the cuff of the sleeve at the seam- not in a spot where it would have had to withstand a lot of wear, especially when I?ve only worn it on one overnight car camping trip and a few times casually out with friends. It?s worth noting that I did read and adhere to the care instructions. I really loved the flannel until now, but it seems like it?s just not built for any durability. This hole isn?t in a spot I can fix myself but I?m debating having it repaired so that it isn?t a complete loss. Overall, cute but don?t expect to hold up.
