Why We Built The All Around Double Ski & Snowboard Rolling Bag

For ski trips that take you and yours far from home, bring along the Backcountry All Around Double Ski & Snowboard Rolling Bag to make the trip a little easier. We designed this bag to fit two pairs of skis or two snowboards, plus its roll-top closure limits excess material and bulk if our sticks don’t need the full capacity. We also utilized oversized wheels for effortless rolling and a waterproof lining for an easy-going travel experience. And our Backcountry Ski and Snowboard Boot Bag fixes to the outside for convenient travel.

excellent burly ski bag

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought this for a ski trip to BC. It held up great. Fit our two pairs of touring skis easily- would fit 2 pairs alpine skis for sure. Nice zippers and straps, good carrying handle that can accomodate more or less volume. Some nice pockets inside and outside. No wear on it yet from an airline-heavy trip.

good quality but straps/handles needed

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

one size

I bought this ahead of my trip to colorado. Love the PVC lining. I found that i wished that there should another handle on the flat bottom of the bag because i’m short and it wasn’t comfortable grabbing from the top handle. I also noticed that there was no long strap to carry it on your shoulder if you wanted. Also, i know other ski bags have backpack straps on the flat back which i know would have been useful when going up stairs. For the price i was hoping for these additions

Easily damaged

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
190 cm

After 2 flights the bag was damaged beyond repair. I expect better durability from a nearly $300 product. Do not buy!

Everything Fits

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The inaugural trip to the Austrian Alps served me well. Was able to fit, boots, helmet, skis/poles, outwear, and everything else into the bag - but got socked by Swiss Air for a heavy bag. The bag seems to be well made, the wheels worked well on the European cobblestone streets, but wish it had a better grab at the other end. The current grab is too thin, flimsy, and cutting on the hands while dragging. Designers, please add a thicker handle for maneuverability on long drags around the ski resort, trains, and the airports.

Works Great So Far

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Purchased about a month ago. Read some of the review that talked about material failing. Decided to purchase anyway due to professional reviews. I've now flown once from MN to Montana and can report zero problems. In fact, the fabric on this seems very robust so it has me doubting the veracity of the review, or possibly it's a review for an older model. I purchased in January of 2024 and received the most recent version. Also, I couldn't find this online, so for anyone interested, I was able to pack one snowboard and one set up skis/poles. I could have fit one pair of boots, too, but could not have put two pairs of boots in the bag. However, there was a TON of extra space for helmets, pants, jackets, gloves, etc. It's not quite a one-stop-shop for two people (at least not for one skier and one boarder), but it's close. I'm happy with the purchase and can recommend.

Bought the ski bag for a trip west to ski and was very happy with the volume for gear (two pair of skis and poles easily) and clothes (jacket, pants, gloves, etc.)

So far so good

Used this bag to carry my snowboard and my wife’s skis on a trip. Boots had to go with in our regular luggage but it was nice to only haul around 1 large bag for the both of us.

Poor Quality and Useless Warranty

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This bag tore a hole in it on my second trip using it. I attempted to contact backcountry multiple times about the advertised warranty but was told to "contact the manufacturer" which in this case is advertised as backcountry themselves. When I pointed this out, the agent disconnected the chat and I have never heard back and e-mails have gone unanswered. Find a different bag from a different company.

Read these reviews and shopper beware!

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This bag looks great! The color is spot on. The design seems really good. It fit a snowboard and skis. So, a couple of pro’s…. But I gave this bag a one star review (and I don’t often leave gear reviews), because I’ve taken it through the airport twice and it already has a sizable rip! The fabric at the top of the bag seems very cheap. I noticed a few scratches after my first plane trip with this bag, but after my second trip, I have a rip that you can’t ignore. Don’t buy this bag. I know it looks great but the quality just isn’t there.

Quality issue

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I like the design of the bag and the unique color options available versus other ski bags in the market. I have used the product on 5-6 trips in the past year since purchasing the bag but I already have several holes on the back side of the bag from just wear and tear. For the price I paid for the product I would expect better quality for the few times I’ve used the bag. I’m having to put fabric tape on the areas with holes to prevent holes from getting larger. All in all, good design, poor quality for the price.
