"This shacket is just so soft. The only thing I can compare it to is the velvety fur on my dog's ears." —Gearhead® Expert Sammy
As a part of our Venture Beyond Collection, the Backcountry Coyote Hollow French Terry Shacket combines activewear comfort with a timeless aesthetic that lives beyond the campsite, because when we step off the trail, we still prefer comfort. The lightweight material blend gives us that touch of breathable coverage we need on spring mornings and summer evenings. We designed this layer with clean lines and a crisp snap front that's a big step above grunge trail fleeces, and the fabric's buttery soft finish caters to our side that craves creature comforts.

I really love the design of this item. It's perfectly oversized, and in the past some of Backcountry's long-sleeve items have been too short in the sleeves, but this is not the case with this item! I'm a 34C and go between wearing smalls and mediums, and the small fits in a perfectly cozy way. However, one of the snaps broke when I first wore it. Backcountry graciously replaced the item for me with a brand new one - and two snaps on the new one broke. I'm not sure how these snaps made it past the testing grounds, and I'm disappointed because I really love this item! I am going to keep it and try to repair the snap on my own, especially since I got it for a sale price, but I would be pretty frustrated if I had paid full price for this. I love a lot of the designs of Backcountry's clothing, but it seems like they might need to step up their quality checks on important functional details like snaps.

Love the style, not great quality

It’s a great color and style but one of the snaps/buttons ripped off the first time I wore it. Definitely a design flaw, i don’t know how im going to fix it. Can no longer wear it because it’s a snap right in the middle and looks ridiculous missing.

I had high hopes for this jacket. On the website it looked really cool with an attractive mix of textures and neutral shades. In reality, it fits like a tent, the material is flimsy, and one of the snaps broke off when I opened it to try it on.
