My all time favorite marathon mtb bib

I’ve gone through many sets of bibs for XC riding and these are by far my favorite for long days on the bike. Warm enough to ride through the nights without getting too cold. The pockets are nice for somewhere to stuff trash while you are eating on the bike. The only thing I wish was they were available more often… I’ve only got one pair of these and try to save them for racing only now…. I’ve ridden thousands of miles and washed them countless times and they are still in great shape but can’t imagine they will last forever.

The pockets are great. I always get bibs with pockets so I don't have to worry about needing a shirt with pockets. The zipper pocket makes you feel confident your cards/ car key wont slide out. Comfortable and warm in the back but breathable cuz of the material. It runs a bit small and doesn't have the best Chamois, but do any chamois make you feel like you're floating a cloud?

So many pockets.

I like the fit, the chamois is decent, and the fabric is ultra-durable. Buying a size S does result in a very tight fit compared to my other bibs. Go with a medium if you're looking for something less aggressive. These are pretty heavy bibs, partly due to the durable fabric and partly due to the fact that it has 5(!) pockets on it. I'm not sure why it needs the three rear pockets, it just seems to add fabric and weight. During a long ride I might end up using one or two pockets. The leg pockets are nice but the zipper can get a little uncomfortable after a long time in the saddle. I am pretty impressed by the fabric and construction, I took a huge crash and fell heavily on my left thigh and they held up with no rips or tears.

Great all around bibs

Great bibs, are holding up very well. I've done MTB days, gravel rides, and several different gravel & MTB races in these bibs. I like the pocket design especially because some days I like to wear a t-shirt instead of a jersey, and the pockets allow space for phone, keys, and nutrition to be carried along. The only somewhat bad thing that can be said about these is on super hot day they are a little hot on the back. These bibs are always my go to.

Update#3 XC convert bib short ,men's med

Update #3, I'm over 25 washings now as this has become a goto for gravel days and some MTB days. Holding up well, no complaints, and I've now logged 3 trips over 5 hours in saddle with an epic 8.5 hr trip. I've up'd the rating to 5-star b/c they are holding up very well. Update #2, After 10 rides and 8 washings, very solid performance and things seem to fit and be far more comfortable then right from package. Last ride was 3+ hours of saddle time, no overshorts, hot weather. Very comfortable chamois, leg grippers worked flawlessly, and although these bibs are warm with the extra "back", they seem to be very comfortable and perform well. Still not quite 5-star b/c I'd like to see flatter stitching, but in fairness it's not an issue. Again warmer bibs, think pockets and multi layer, so not for super sunny hot conditions, I'd say up to 85 fahrenheit as estimate. By the way the thigh pocket is exceptional in holding a wallet, keys, and totally comfortable during ride and secure, well thought out. ........... This is amendment #1 to my previous review. I up'd the stars to 4-stars. After a couple MTB rides, in wetter and cold conditions, I'm happy to report the more upright riding, washing once, and better adjustment, no "bunching" on the chamois, and I think the bibs, although warmer, have a solid place in the chamois arsenal. I like the 11" inseam, I'm a taller person. I wore overshorts and that really reduced the bibs "slippery" on the leather seat as expected. I also wore a backpack and am happy to report the wider back with zipper pocket etc. showed zero interference and zero discomfort with a backpack. I may have been a bit harsh at 3 stars, If this product continues to hold up well, I believe it'll be performing as well as the big brand names that you pay a bit more for.
