TS Rescue Package

Good things seem to come in threes, and Backcountry Access is hopping on the trifecta train with the TS Rescue Package, which combines the new Tracker S avalanche beacon, Stealth 270 probe, and B-1 EXT shovel to make sure you're fully equipped when you head into the backcountry.

The Tracker S beacon is user-friendly, with all the components you need for a reliable search, and nothing you don't, which keeps the price low. Clear and intuitive direction and distance indicators make it easy to follow, and the multiple burial feature allows you to mark one buried victim so your partner can start probing while you continue on to pick up the signal of the next victim. A maximum range of 55 meters picks up your victim's signal from farther away, saving you precious time in an emergency. And, the S automatically switches to transmit mode after a few minutes of inactivity, just in case you get caught in a secondary slide while searching.

The shovel and probe are far simpler but no less important; after all, you need all three to successfully locate an avalanche victim. The B-1 EXT shovel is compact and lightweight, with a telescoping aluminum shaft and ergonomic T-grip handle. The Stealth 270 probe boasts clear depth markings a strong tip to easily penetrate harder snow and debris, and with its Quick-Lock hardware, the Stealth is impressively easy to stow and deploy.
