Climbing Skins

The Backcountry Access Climbing Skins are extremely versatile on all sorts of skintracks. Its mohair blend grips well when the track is icy, and glides well when you're setting through deep powder. Backcountry Access redesigned the hybrid glue to pull apart better than before, and it resists tackiness regardless of the weather. The skins include cleaning wipes for the glue, a stuff sack for compact storage, and cleaning wipes for the glue.

First time ever touring this year. I've used these twice so far. Haven't slipped or had any issues on glide. I originally wanted POMOCA skins, but local shop mentioned that BCA released these brand new this year. Glad I went with these. You won't regret this purchase!

Once I had these skins trimmed and sized to my skis, I was blown away with how easily they pulled apart. And as a result, I was immediately sceptical of their ability to stick to my ski bases. Thing is...they did. And they actually did it really well. Lap after lap after lap. The mohair mix offers the perfect balance of grip and glide. They also pack up very efficiently and don't hog a lot of room in my coat or pack. Lastly, it's worth mentioning BCA's trim tool that comes included with these skins. It rules! Best trim tool out there. It's precise, predictable, and super comfortable in the hand. I know it's a minor detail, but it really leave an impression.
