Bomber
- Familiarity:

I love having this shovel in my quiver. It's such a big bad snow mover. I have it on my sled and it makes getting un stuck and building jumps a much quicker process. The D ring handle provided such a good hold and the long handle and huge blade do the rest.

This is a whole lot of shovel. Its nice for moving lots of snow and building booters in the BC but its big bulky and heavy... If Your trying to cut down on weight or have a small pack , there is a more appropriate option.

Strong Shovel, hard to fit in pack
Great shovel, except it won't fit in my North Face Snomad 34 tool compartment.

Kicker building monster
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Headed into the backcountry to build a kicker or dig out your sled? Leave the mini shovels behind and grab this one, shovels snow twice as fast and makes building jumps easy. Whether you're cutting blocks out or moving soft snow, this one is worth bringing with you.

"We Don't Need No Stinking Tickets!"

When you pull this bad boy out, a red gleam of light will shine across the Vally! So bright, the lemmings getting chair lifted from across the canyon will stair in awe as their legs shrivel in it sheer presence. Bottom line, this shovel is comfortable to use because of it long handle and it picks up a lot of snow because of it large blade. This shovel would even make the Great Gold Hat proud!

back country kicker's best friend

This shovel is a beast and moves a ton of snow. Its really sturdy and I have never worried about it breaking when I'm hard at work building a kicker. The handle makes it really easy to use also. The blade is a bit big and the shovel is heavier than I lot of others but it fits fine in my Dakine pack. I wouldn't trade it for lighter models because If I ever needed to dig my pals out, I would be glad to have this shovel.

It's a beast
This guy does WORK! Very large blade to move a bunch of snow at a time. It's perfect for jump building, but it is a little larger than most would prefer for touring on a regular basis. The blade size can be a pain to fit in a smaller pack. We have an older Dakine model, approx 25L, and this just barely fits in the front pocket (with a squeeze). But for some serious snow-moving business, this model can't be beat. Very easy to assemble and handle. I would absolutely recommend it!

Moves a ton of snow
The B-52 is a sick shovel if your trying to move a lot of snow. Its a little to large to tour with on a regular basis but if your building jumps or shelters where your moving a lot of snow and shoveling for a long time its the best.
