    Godsend for touring

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought these as a gift for my sister, who loves them! This is from her:

"These boots have been a godsend for backcountry skiing. The walk mode provides a range of mobility that is better than any boot I’ve ever been in. Despite the walk-mode flexibility, the ski-mode remains stiff providing great control. I had the liner molded which was irrevocably worth it. There are a couple pinch points, but I’m still trying to see what I can break in and what can be punched out.

I also love that these boots work with frame and pin bindings—cutting down on the amount of gear I need to own to do the things I love!

I’m also always a fan when a women’s product isn’t hot pink/purple, etc. It’s nice to be able to get outside without having to look like skier barbie."

Great for the new backcountry skier.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are my first pair of touring boots. I am a fairly novice skier. I ski resort and very mellow backcountry. And, I recently broke my ankle. I needed a boot that I could easily get in and out of, that skied backcountry and resort, and that fit a narrow foot with a high instep. I love these! They have enough stability to support me on the downhill (they have good coverage up my shins) and enough give to be comfortable on the way up. I haven't developed any hot spots and I have spent two days backcountry and two days resort in these skis. If you're fairly new to backcountry or just want to be comfortable, I highly recommend these boots!

    Great for small feet

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought these for my girlfriend as a gift. She has small narrow feet and it is hard to find a boot with walk mode in her size. She hasn't skied in them yet, but they seem to fit perfectly.
