Why We Like The Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD 130 GW Boot
Ready to pull double duty in the backcountry and at the resort, the Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD 130 GW Boot offers powerful control when and where we need it. The 130 flex and 2-piece, 4-buckle design feels like our favorite alpine boots, while the 54° range of motion opened up by the Free/Lock lever leaves little to be desired when it comes to climbing skintracks. The insulated liner keeps our feet warm and locked in place, while the power strap virtually ensures power.

Disappointing
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 312mm
Atomics generally fit me well. Unfortunately, these boots have torn up my feet after every tour - total blister mania. Been trying to resolve with boot work but so far haven't had much success. As for the flex - no way are these 130. They're soft out of the box. Really wish manufacturers could build a burlier boot we can tour in. Would not use these in the resort.
