Very nice saddle-though round not flat

I've been doing a lot of fit tweaking during this off season, indoor season. I went all in on the Steve Hogg system so I've moved the cleats all the way back, lowered the saddle, shortened the stem and a few other minor things. While assessing movement in a mirror, I did notice my hips were shifting laterally a bit. I'm very flexible for my age (61 can extend palms nearly to the floor) so some companies say I should be on a flat saddle, which I have been (Fabric Scoop) for 3-4 years. I thought I'd give this a try as the narrow center and overall shape looked like it would work for me. My instincts were right. The fit is very good and comfort has improved as I'm not moving around as much. A few notes about saddle design. I've found flat saddles do not need a channel because the center of your anatomy sits higher. Round saddles do need the the relief void because the sit bones set lower and the center is higher. Also, when you move from flat to round the saddle needs to be raised (4-5mm) because the sit bones are lower. I may follow up when I move this outside, but for now this is a very solid comfortable product.
