Why We Like The Astral Loyak Water Shoe
The Astral Loyak Water Shoe provides the right mix of grip, flexibility, and durability we need when guiding raft trips or kayaking technical rivers. The stitched Cordura upper is highly abrasion-resistant for durability, yet also breathable and quick-drying. The upper is also attached directly to the rubber outsole for a low-profile fit and enhanced feel underfoot. G.15 rubber helps us maintain our footing on slippery river beds and slick rocks, and flex grooves allow our foot to flex naturally.

The perfect shoe
These shoes are so comfortable. Id rather be barefoot but if I have to wear shoes, these are it! I wear them everywhere. I hike in them, climb in them, beach in them, they are always with me. The foam scrubable insole is amazing, and very comfy. Also the shoes wash well and dry fast. I love the wide toe box and the barefoot feel. The style is classic and I get compliments on them constantly. Could a more perfect shoe exist? I say no way!

Great show, wish they came in half sizes
I love the shoes. The low profile and minimalist feel is great. The one wish I have for the shoes is for them to come in half sizes. I ordered the 10 originally but was just ever so slightly too snug. Returned (which was very easy to do) for the 11 and they fit, but the 10.5 would be perfect. Other than that, I love them.

Great show, perfect sizing
I’ve had trouble with the hemp line being too snug. However this is a perfect fit shoe just like all of the other Loyak M’s I own. Highly recommend
