- Q & A
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Too Small. I love the look and feel of the golves. They are too small and I dboubt they will be as warm as I thought with my fingers so restricted. Really need an XL and XXL.
Stitching coming apart after 3 weeks
After wearing these 10 times at the most and not doing any hard labor, etc., the stitching in one of the pinky's is coming apart. The only real physical activity that happened while wearing these gloves was throwing a tennis ball to my dog.
Question Warmth & Quality
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
First of all, these gloves are very good-looking. Their "statement" gloves, meaning everyone notices them and they stand out significantly - I like that. I bought them however because an article I read listed them as a top 5 "warmest" glove. My fingers tend to get very cold and I spend several hours outside daily in 15 degree weather. When the gloves arrived, I was impressed with the overall build and they were what I expected. They were comfortable and I wanted to get outside immediately to test their warmth. After being outside 15 minutes or so in 25 degree weather, my fingers began to get cold, so I was irritated but wanted to give them more time. As time went on I realized they weren't as warm as advertised, and beyond that the stitching on one of the pinky's was coming loose - all after 3 weeks of owning them.
For the price, these simply don't measure up when it comes to warmth and quality. They look amazing, but looks is about all I can give these gloves credit for. It might bee I have oddly cold fingers in the cold, so I recommend testing these out yourself and maybe you can draw a different conclusion.
In the end, I found a $15 pair of mittens that are warmer than these.
