- Q & A
Did their job and kept the fingers toasty in the snowy high country. Tough, water-resistant material was great for everything from snow to rock. Canât wait to use them for skiing this winter.
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I have been intrigued by the design and craftsmanship of the gloves for some time and really like everything about the company. They are exactly what I expected. At first I would say how can you wear them but that is what they are made for. Fit is solid and the gloves are warm. You will have them along time.
These are my first pair of Astis gloves. I was a little hesitant to shell out the $120+, but after wearing them on a camping/hiking road trip to the San Luis Valley and Taos, Iâm a believer. It took a couple of days to break them in, but man, do they feel good now. And theyâre BY FAR the warmest gloves Iâve ever owned. The first night we camped, the Valley received about of inch of sleet and temps dropped into single digits. As long as my gloves were on, my fingers remained toasty. I look forward to years of use/enjoyment. NOTE: I would describe my hands as borderline line Large-XL. If youâre a full on XL or larger, these probably arenât for you. If Astis made XL, I wouldâve returned the Large.
