Why We Like The T GTS - Mille GT C2 Bib Short - Men's

We like a comfortable bib short that's compressive, but not restricting. When we're riding up a canyon with burning thighs and the will to power through, the last thing we want is discomfort from our bibs or jersey. Assos designs gear for these moments so athletes can carry on pedaling through the tough stuff without a hitch. The brand's T GTS - Mille GT C2 Bib Short ensures that riders will have a good time on their bike no matter if it's a training session or a Sunday morning ride with the group. Custom fabric blends, a refined insert, and versatile fit ensure lasting comfort on all rides. For a performance-based balance, the Mille elastic interface insert is employed with 13mm of memory foam to ensure cushioning, and a 3D waffle perforated foam increases breathability in turn. Lightly compressive 4-way stretch ensures flexibility in the bib's fabric, and superFlat grippers keep everything in place without excessive pressure. Reflective accents offer additional safety measures in low-light situations.

I now have 2 pair of these and thinking about getting a 3rd. I have top of the line Castelli and PI. These are by far the best bib shorts I have ever worn. Short or long rides they are the most comfortable to wear. The chamois pad is extremely comfortable, stays in place and holds up really well after multiple uses and washings. I've even had a small fall in them and no damage. The amount of compression is just right. Holds everything in place and feels good around your legs. The straps are nowhere as tight as the premium Castelli bib shorts I have. The straps are not tight, fit perfectly and stay in place throughout the entire ride. You barely feel the straps on your shoulder; no restriction of movement. The material feels hi-quality and is far superior to prior versions. The leg grippers hold and do not slip while riding. Cant say enough good things about these shorts. The sizing is true. I wear a large and that's what I bought.

I stocked up on Cannondale Elite bibs several years ago when they were exiting the clothing business and they've been fantastic but are finally wearing out. I sized a large in those and they fit perfect. I went through the sizing guide on these and with a 40 inch waist--it said to order the XLG (XXL)--I was a bit skeptical but went for it and they fit really well. With the straps off it does feel a little loose but once on they feel great. My only complaint is that sometimes I notice/feel where the front straps meet shorts but the more I ride with them the less I notice it. They feel great and have ridden well anywhere from 1 to 3 hour rides. They will definitely be in the running for future bibs as my Cannondale supply continues to wear down.
