    Go the distance.

Long-distance comfort was the overall goal when Assos' designers joined together for the new SS.cento_s7 Jersey. It features all of the sharp details you've come to expect from the Swiss apparel giant, along with a smooth fit for those day-long rides.

The bulk of the SS.cento_s7 was made from Assos' exclusive Type 145 fabric. This innovative material was designed with body temperature regulation in mind, as its composition works to transfer moisture at varying rates. When your body is hot, and your perspiration levels are high, the material reacts by accelerating moisture transfer from your skin to the fabric's surface, where it dries quickly. Inversely, when your body cools down, the opposite results, where the evaporation process slows down, using body moisture as a means of retaining warmth. For additional body temperature control and increased moisture wicking, the SS.cento_s7's underarm panels have been constructed with Assos' highly elastic, lightweight mesh. The placement of this material provides you with both a free range of motion and enhanced breathability.

In terms of fit, the SS.cento_s7 jersey was made with a contoured fit that isn't too loose or too tight, complementing a range of types and those who prefer a smoothly stretching, supportive top over a compressive, race-cut jersey. Of course, this jersey, like all Assos jerseys, has been designed to accommodate the body within the cycling position. Accordingly, you'll find that the fit feels tight and oddly contoured while standing. However, the moment that you stretch to the hoods or get into the drops, you'll feel that signature Assos "click," and your ride will be guaranteed to be absent of any bunching, chafing, or pinching.

In addition to the three lower back panel pockets, a zippered "safety pocket" was sewn onto the center rear pocket, allowing you to stash your keys and cash, as well as route your headphone wires through the inside of the jersey. Other finishing touches include rear reflective visibility stripes, a covered, full-front zip, and an elastic/silicone hem at the rear.

The Assos SS.cento_s7 Jersey is available in seven sizes from X-Small to TIR (which translates to XXX-Large) and in the colors Black Volkanga, Blue Calypso, Red Swiss, White Panther, and Yellow Volt. According to the Assos Layering System ClimaRange, this jersey falls into both the spring.1 summer.2 categories. In English, this means that Assos recommends wearing it from around 65 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Premium quality; premium price.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

As a cyclist for nearly 30 years, I've worn clothing from a lot of different manufacturers, and while there is certainly some fantastic clothing out there at a fraction of the price of Assos, there is still nothing quite like Assos. They've been on the forefront of cycling apparel technology since riders started making the transition from wool shorts and jerseys to Lycra and other synthetics.

The SS.Cento is positioned as Assos high-end "comfort" jersey; so it's a little more substantial than their lighter race-oriented jerseys. It also has a slightly more forgiving cut for the "more substantial" rider.

Yes, Assos is spendy, but for as long as their gear lasts under regular use, it's well worth every penny spent on the purchase.

    Can't beat this jersey

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

Assos quality...sorry I found it because I don't want to wear anything else anymore. The styling of this jersey is also really nice. I must admit, I look better with it on than off :-( I am very happy with this. Fit? I don't have any problems with an XLG.

    ASSOS Rocks...

    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: LRG
    • Height: 6'4"
    • Weight: 215lbs

I am biased and love anything ASSOS so its no surprise I love this Jersey. I will say the XLG, which I normally wear was a tad too loose, and the Lrg is arguably a tad too small so unlike my other racing cut jerseys this is a tad in-between. I went the smaller route so it would be more racing style. Material is awesome, and it really is worth the extra money.

    At Long Last

I've worn Assos Jersey's and cycling bibs for years. This Jersey is the best one I've owned. I like the fact that the back pocket is within reach, it's not all emblazoned with logos, and fits very well. I am going on a week long cycling trip in Sept and now have 4 of them and am going across the U.S next year. I will probably buy a few more.

    Fit not for me.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 5'11"

Bought this for those longer hot, sweaty summer rides along the TX Gulf coast. While the Assos quality is clearly evident, the fit is just not right for me. The cut is for a very relaxed riding position, which means longer in the front than say the SS.mangussta_s7 jersey. In addition the sleeves are longer and the collar is noticeably taller (too high for me). I personally find both the sleeve length and collar height to be excessive to the point of feeling awkward and obvious after several hours in the saddle.

I had ordered small size #c25840518
But the jersey was m size.
    I didn't know that.
    It too big for me.
So I have order xs size #c25840518
I see the wrong size just now.
    I want exchange s size.
    How do I do???

Given the funky ASSOS sizing, where is this versus the Mille and the Magnusta and Uno?
