Really is next level
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I own a handful of Assos bibs. Mostly from their lower tier. Stepping up to the high end with this one and it really is supreme comfort. I think every detail in these bibs have a high end look and feel. This is definitely a luxury item.

Pricey but worth it.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I have ridden many types of bibs over the years and have always struggled with chaffing on my right cheek when I go more then 50 miles. Those days are gone. The Chamois on these bibs is super thick and comfortable, it is a bit wider then most bibs and this is exactly what I needed. I rode 80 miles the first day I had them and no soreness at all.

Fantastic!

Wow these are fantastic bibs. I have had my other Assos bibs for about 15 years and they were tired and time to be retired. I looked at the chamois for these bibs and was sold. The pad must be close to an inch thick and very comfortable. I usually have to stand up in the pedals help with circulation and my rear end talking to me but not with these bibs. So far mostly two hour rides and the chamois is great. Waiting to get a second pair! You will not be disappointed.

Assos doesn't stand behind its products

Paid $350 for these shorts. Wore them for two seasons. Fewer than 1,000 miles per season on the shorts. The front seam below the belly then came apart. Assos and the vendor say it is no longer under warranty and cannot be repaired. The best they can offer is $50 off a full priced replacement. I’ve been wearing Assos bibs exclusively for over 15 years. This is not the quality of product or level of service I expect. I will think twice before purchasing another Assos product.

This bib is pretty good in term of cutting and materials used. But after trying it for several rides from 1 - 4 hours, I gotta stop use it because it’s not comfortable enough.

Amazingly comfortable

I had always purchased at best middle of the road priced bibs and shorts from Castelli and Pearl iZUMi in the past thinking that there could not be that much of a difference between them and Assos. After having put several rides on these bibs now, including four long ones I can say without reservation that these are the most comfortable bibs I've ever used. The quality is outstanding, and the fit is great. Treat yourself one time and get these bibs. They are certainly worth it.

Best-fitting bib-short yet
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I'm been wearing size large in Assos bib-shorts for years and years. My weight from 175 to 163 pounds in the past few years. I purchased large and medium and tried on both sizes three times, one after the other for quick comparison. I decided to keep medium. Surprisingly, both sizes fit me seemingly the same, however, in large the elastic material around the waist—just above the groin area—is really flabby and loose compared to the medium which is taut. If you have a big belly get a large. I'm 69, have a 33" flat waist, and 36" hips. Comfortable and great fitting bib-short. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. I'll be buying more in the future.

I have been frustrated with Assos. Their products have been inconsistent in fit and quality, but their prices are consistently high. They change the name of a product line and give it a name that has nothing to do with previous products and you really do not ever know what you are getting. These are a home run. The padding is thicker than usual in all of the right places. This is a new blue chamois that really fits well and does not chafe. It keeps pressure off the key areas that causes numbness. Perfect on really long rides.

Almost Perfect, But I Returned It
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Wearing this Bib is like wearing a tux, it's well tailored and form fitting. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit me perfectly. I usually wear a Small for all the Equipe bibs, this one fits well from a size standpoint, but the pad is too small. My seat bones are right at the edge of the thick padding. The padding is quite thick also, it takes some getting used to. I really wanted to keep it, but at that price, it must be glove fitting perfect, and it's not.

Best Bib Yet

I have Castelle Free Aero, Pear Izumi, Giro, and Bontrager bibs, time to start replacing each. Researched the Assos GTO C2 and looked at all the reviews I could find, all 5 star. All my other bibs are good but always seemed to not do the job for rides over 40 miles. Decided to purchase the Assos GT0 C2 LONG. I can tell you this bib is by far the best I have ever had, especially for long distance, there is no comparison to the other bibs I have used. I will be buying a second GTO soon so I can easily rotate. I am 5' 9" 172 lbs and purchased the MEDIUM in a LONG, the fit is spot on and very aero. I HIGHLY recomment!
