Equipe RS Winter Long-Sleeve Mid Layer

The Equipe RS Winter Mid Layer continues Assos's pedigree of kitting cyclists for the harshest conditions. Made from their thickest OSMOS fabric, a brushed-back fleece, this long sleeve keeps heat close to the skin to warm against the bitter cold. The race fit and raw-hem design layer easily underneath jersey or jacket, and it conveniently packs into its own pocket when not in use.

Love this but there are some caveats...

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I usually wear size L for the Equip sizes in bibs and jerseys. But a size L for this is tight. The material does stretch, a lot, but it was tight and very snug when I first tried it on. BUT, after wearing it a few times, it must have stretched out a bit because now, it's just snug which I like as I use it as a warm base layer. Initially I thought it would be too hot to wear on a fall day but wearing this and a cycling jersey was perfect (around 60 to 80 degrees swing temp. weather - yeah, it's like this now in SoCal...). For colder weather, I would probably need either a warmer jacket or another layer. In all, this is a great and flexible thick/warm base layer. Just wish it was a little cheaper.
