Equipe RS Spring Fall Aero Gilet
As much as we’d hope, it can’t always be 65 degrees and sunny come race day. For those spring and fall classics, the Assos Equipe Aero Gilet keeps your core warm during hard efforts, so you can perform your best despite challenging conditions. Assos uses their 2XS fabric on the front panel, to make it windproof and highly breathable. The water-resistant material helps repel moisture, while the brushed face adds softness and eliminates the crinkle of other wind vests. The back panel's breathability helps regulate your temperature, while a dual-direction zipper allows easy pocket access and venting as needed.

First thing first, let's talk sizing. This gilet is certainly on the aero side of things, if you don't want a snug fit then you might want to go up a size—especially if you have some body fat; this gilet has little room but is also slimming at the same time. This is probably attributed to its ability to retain shape easily. If you are okay with snug then don't hesitate with the size you normally go for with Assos jerseys. The gilet will only feel snug in the areas it's supposed to, while areas like your shoulders will remain unrestricted. No matter what size you opt for this thing does not bunch up and makes you look like you have abs for days underneath. Next thing: the zipper. This gilet is very easy to remove and can be done so with one hand without a problem. Putting it back on may require the use of both hands and can be tricky to "thread" if you don't have great dexterity. It has that metal chunky feeling that is great quality-wise but might prove to be a task for some. Probably best to put this on at a stop or if you trust your riding without hands on the bars. Overall? Amazing quality. It will keep your chest well protected from the elements and I am extremely happy with this purchase. A gilet like this is perfect for transitioning weather
