Assosoires Leg Foil Warmer

Assos constantly strives to engineer performance-focused, riding clothing for the year-round cyclist, and the new Assosoires Leg Foil Warmer works to fill out the niche sector of transitional-season riding apparel. Typical leg warmers have a thick, fleece lining to brace against mid-winter air, and summer-weight leg sleeves provide sun protection but are not warm enough for chilly spring and fall riding. These options inevitably result in rides that feel too warm or too cold. The Assosoires provides the ideal layering system for those extended base-miles in spring and fall. Using soft Foil yarns, Assos delivers tubular knit that breathes and manages moisture buildup during warmer-weather training rides and provides just enough warmth on cooler rides to remain comfortable without overheating.

Assos achieves a seamless design and increased comfort in the Assosoires by using their Circular Seamless technology, and for grip, smooth bands at the upper thigh and ankle secure the warmers in position.

  • Seamless sun protection for spring and fall
  • Foil yarns woven in a seamless tubular shape
  • High UPF rating for extended protection on long rides
  • Smooth bands maintain warmer's position around thighs
  • Soft interior fabric offers some warmth on cooler days

I know, euro sizing or whatever, but I’m 6’ 1”, a bit under 170 lbs with an average athletic build, and the size 1 leg warmers were way too tight. Like, uncomfortably tight. Also kind of itchy, but that could have just been because of the tightness pulling my leg hair (sorry guys I’m not a smooth cyclist). Otherwise they seemed ok, but for all the Assos hype they didn’t seem that special.
