Durable Shell
Up until recently was only using my BD Vapor which is an incredibly light helmet but extremely soft and dents easily. Was starting to look like an old avocado so decided to upgrade. Favorite helmet yet
The BD vision is lightweight and comfortable, so I actually wear it all day climbing instead of using it as a seat. This helmet might be heavier then the Vapor and less durable then the half dome but it strikes the perfect blend of those two helmets, light enough that you’ll wear it durable enough that you’ll be able to wear it for years. Helmet with a vision for getting wild and staying safe
My BD vision helmet has proved to be versatile, comfortable and protective. I have used my Vision Helmet on professional trips I lead as well as for my personal use. Climbing of all types the helmet is so comfortable I forget I am wearing it. The fit adjustment system is simple ad stays in place for as long as you are out. I recently used the helmet on a backcountry snowboard trip. The helmet is super light weight and did not compromise my riding or climbing. This is easily the most comfortable climbing helmet I’ve ever worn! 10/10 would recommend! It stays in place without drifting backwards and the chin strap doesn’t feel like it’s pulling on my neck when I move my head around. Plus…my sunglasses fit as well without any obstruction. Solid Dome

Comfortable and Light
I have used the half dome my whole life, but I wanted to try something different. The Vision is light, comfortable, and easy to adjust. All my climbing partners loved it and are upgrading theirs. Great Lightweight helmet
Use this helmet for everything from sport climbing to ski mountaineering and ice climbing! Super comfy fit (I have a huge head and I struggle to find good fitting helmets), and I can layer a R1 hood and buff beneath it. Most comfortable helmet ever
I have a pretty small head and no helmet I've tried before fit well. Maybe my head shape is weird, but no matter how much I tightened or adjusted other helmets, they always slipped down my forehead and the webbing around the ears wouldn't be low enough and therefore constantly rubbed and irritated my ears — I've lost earrings from this. This is the only helmet I've tried that actually fits around my ears without rubbing and doesn't wobble on my head. BD, please don't change the design!

Lightweight and Great fit
This helmet feels great on your head. Although I am a big fan of the wheel adjustments on helmets, this one is very intuitive and comfortable. I also love that it feels weightless on your head (coming from a Half-dome helmet). The one minor thing is that it does look big on your head. I care more about keeping my head safe than the perfect aesthetic, so I am very happy with it, but it was just something I noticed when I first put it on. Awesome helmet! IN all I like the helmet. I Bought it for multi-pitch climbing, so far it has sat on my head just fine. its light weight and quite comfortable. its mostly foam with very little plastic covering. so one rock hit and its done. so durability maybe an issue, compared to something like a half dome helmet with a more substantial plastic shell, but that is to be seen when/if I get hit with a rock... Does the job
Loving the lightweight nature of the helmet. Durability remains to be seen as it certainly will get tested over time, but so far so good. My one only issue, and it' something I'm mostly used to now, is that the design of the straps makes it impossible to change the alignment and position of the clips around your jawline. I have a normal head (my friends might disagree) so it fits fine, I just wish I could make small tweaks to the location. Still, I would buy this again no question. lower quality
had this helmet before hence i reordered. was much better quality before including the plastic insert part that adjust diameter which is kinda jank now. the foam pieces in helmet where contact points were fell out of helmet so i had to guess where they went which wasn’t difficult but is kinda lot idea for safety equipment. overall i didn’t return but prob would have if they didn’t destroy returned helmets (or per folklore they do)
