Great pants- hard to fit

I tried two sizes, first a Medium, too tight in the thighs and waist. Now the Large is much too big...While there is an adjustable velcro band inside the waist, cinching it makes the pant look weird on me. Looks wide in the hips. Thighs are fitted. Bummer because pants are of a very nice quality and gortex! Plum is a beautiful color.

Nice pants, tight in the hips

I ended up returning these. The length seems true to size, but they'll fit someone with slender hips best. Very nice pants though
