Great Boots

Most comfortable footwear.
Not just boot, but most comfortable footwear I’ve ever owned. Planning on getting another color asap. Seems to hold up well in rain/snow too (I’ve only had them a month so maybe too early to call). Fantastic overall. Fits true to size.

My Third Pair!
These boots are everything I want and need. They’re sturdy. They slip on and off solidly. They fit solidly. They’re durable. They look great. They’re waterproof. And they’re comfortable. I wear them a lot. I condition the leather and keep them clean. As they wear out, I have them re-heeled and re-soled. When they get very worn, I relegate them to “bad condition duty” and bring in a new pair. Repeat. They’re wonderful for me and my lifestyle. Please warn me if they are to become discontinued so I can stock up. Thanks!!!

Worth way more than what I paid
Boots are extremely comfortable, you can wear them with anything and you look great. Daughter told me “don’t you have black boots, like your pair of Doc’s, and I said “not like these Madison!”

Poor build quality
Good comfy boot however doesn’t last long if in regular use . On my second pair ,heel has peeled apart on both . It’s a shame ,won’t be purchasing again.

Scratch beneath the surface for poor quality
Difficult one as I love Ariat products and I want to love these boots, but ………. as other reviews point out, the heel and sole are cheap. They are advertised as waterproof but the heel is a hard plastic with a fake leather, thin band on the outside then to make them look expensive. Once you’ve worn them a few times in the wet the band starts to come off and you’re left with a clear, hard plastic heel showing and they look horrendous. I used a brown permanent pen to colour the heel in and make them ok. There are plenty of similar boots sold by other companies that had a solid rubber heel which would be much better. Sadly I won’t buy these again as much as I like their look and fit.

Tight at first but wears in nicely.
The boots have worn in excellent. Need to make a wide version. I was shocked on the website they don’t have a W for this boot. the first day I walked in them they started hurting which is not great and I was very worried. But the leather has softened up a lot and feels much better now. But I would recommend them making a wide boot, seems odd they don’t. They feel a bit longer than the length they say, but then thinner, then you would like for the size of of the boot. I have an 11 1/2 which is a bit long could’ve used an 11 but there would have been no way I could’ve fit my foot in them with wise.
