Your new do-anything day pack.
The Arc'teryx Sebring 25 Backpack is excellent for any day activity whether you're hiking, climbing, traveling, trekking, or simply heading to school or work. Arc'teryx made this bag primarily out of N630p-HT nylon for extreme durability, and the back panel consists of Spacermesh for breathability, HDPE for support, and EV50 foam for comfort. The padded shoulder straps are super comfortable, and you can remove or adjust the sternum strap for an ideal fit. The main compartment completely opens out so you can reach anything in your bag with ease. There's a sleeve for for a hydration bladder and two pockets for over-sized water bottles. Arc'teryx also added two external pockets with organization slots for your work or school papers, and the internal security pocket has a clip to keep your keys safe.

- Q & A
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Good looking pack, lot of functionality in a small and lightweight design. My only question is about the grab handles on the left, right and bottom of the pack. Why so many? The two side handles seem a bit too close to the back panel to be useful as attachment/clip points. The handle on the bottom of the pack needed some adjustment to keep it from poking into my lower back. Otherwise excited to use this back for day hikes and travel. The "buckeye" color is nice.
One other minor point - as another reviewer noted, there is an interior sleeve that can be used to hold a hydration bladder, and a clip at the top of the bag that appears to be a key clip but can also be used to suspend a hydration bladder. However, there is no built in exit hole for a hydration tube, so the hose must be run out the top zipper if you want to use it while "on the go."

So many pockets!!!

So this pack looks small but it can hold so much! It makes a great day pack for hiking as well. It fully zips open to flat so if you want to use it for rope you totally can. I use it mainly for climbing but have used it as a carry on for traveling as well. I currently have two chalk bags, harness, ATC, two pairs of shoes, and a huge bag of loose chalk to refill with lots of room left for other things like draws, gloves and jackets! The backing on the pack is breathable as well so that it doesn't get all wet from sweat and it has a hydration pouch that can double as a laptop pocket (for a 13" laptop). I really do love the functionality of the pack and the diversity and I would recommend it for anyone that wants a sleek looking and functional pack!
