    Crack-free crack climbing.

You're probably not thinking about your plumber's crack when you're shimmying your way up an offwidth, but it can make for an unpleasant belaying experience, so do your belayer a solid and keep your britches up with the Arc'teryx Conveyor Belt.

    Didn't fit :(

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size

The large didn't fit me because I'm larger than the average dude. I gave five stars because of the construction and the quality of the belt. I was impressed. I am a 42-ish waist. This just gives me more motivation to lose the ell-bees!

    Could use a web loop

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Large

I liked this belt enough to buy another. Like most Arcteryx stuff, it's built like a tank.

Pro #1 The clasp is one piece (rather than hinged). So when I wake up very early to go for that pre-dawn alpentour, there's no clink-clank of a two-piece clasp to wake my wife up.

    (2) Very sturdy molded, dual-riveted tip. Will not pull off, like the cheaper crimp-on tips.

Cons (1) I have a 35 inch waist, and I bought a Large. So there's about 8" of spare belt. Due to the heavy-duty riveted tip, the excess droops in front. Would be nice to have a web loop to hold the excess belt. I think I'll try a size Medium next time so that there will only be a few inches of extra belt.

    Keeps my pants up

Nice quality belt, very well made.
I have bought two of these I went for Medium and I wear a size 33 W. fits perfectly.

    Okay Belt, but...

It is an okay belt, but it could be much better. For starters, I couldn't get past the red stitching on the black webbing. That's really more of a preference on my part than a fault with the belt, I just wish they made an all black version. My main issue with it was how stiff the webbing was. It made it difficult to get the belt right enough to do its job, and it would never stay coiled when not in use. Most belts start out stiff but eventually loosen up. Not this belt. It's a shame since I really liked the overall look of this belt (aside from the red of course).

    Good solid belt.

This is a nice nylon belt. Belt is solid and thick and has good width 1.5inch. Little difficult to get super tight but not bad. I went with the large length and I usually wear a 38 inch waist. I have maybe 4 inches of extra belt past the buckle with the large.

      Works Great

The Conveyor belt has a nice thickness and width for a mesh belt that it feels substantial and doesn't feel like you have a rope around your waist. The buckle is nicely designed for looks and functionality. I use the belt for hiking/backpacking. The nylon belt and aluminum buckle are good for rainy days, where leather wouldn't cut it.

I use these belt exclusively on my pants while hiking. They are well made and should provide long term usage. The belt does not slip or loosen. My only complaint is that it is somewhat difficult to cinch it as tight as I would like. I have a 34 inch waist.

      A solid belt

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Got this for a buddy and this for a buddy and this is what he said.

It does what a belt is supposed to do: keep pants up. It's fairly thick and feels like quality that should last many many years. My only complaint, as others have said is that its tough to really get it tight, but it still works well

      It keeps my pants up.

I'll start with what I like. The belt looks good and rides well. It also appears to be tough as nail and should take a beating. However, I have difficult getting belt really tight. My previous belt was a tru-spec nylon belt. The buckle on that belt is set up to get the belt very tight, which is nice for carrying a load of gear on the belt itself. So I will keep using the nylon belt when I want to hang gear on it. The arc'teryx is a great casual belt and will keep your pants up, plus it just looks good. It would probably even work as an energy anchor to repel from in the case of attack by ninjas or something like that.

        Top Notch

Alright, it doesn't actually have any notches, but it's a spectacular belt. The Medium measures about 45 in and despite being a little long, it is great for my 32 in waist. Definitely a solid construction that I expect should last me for years to come.

        Great belt

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

It's certainly expensive but it is also a nicely made belt. It's thicker and more robust than my other nylon webbing belts, it has the additional detail of the horizontal grooves, the end of the belt is more than just melted nylon and the anodized aluminium buckle is perfect. I got the admiral blue which works great with jeans as well.

My waist size is between 33 and 34 and medium fits perfectly.

This belt could be used as a ratchet strap to secure cargo on a semi-trailer…..it’s that stout. The small I ordered is 42.5” long; on my 33” waist there are about 6” of overlap, which is just the way I like it.

        Simple. Solid. Secure.

I needed a durable belt to hold up my bibs while ski touring and I chose to go with the Arc'teryx Conveyor Belt. I typically wear a 33" waist pant and the medium length belt fits me perfectly with about 6" of overlap.

Typical for Arc'teryx, the construction is very durable and pleasantly simple. The strap is thicker than I expected, but it feels great when I am wearing it and I am sure this will help it last for many seasons to come. My favorite part about the belt is that once I set the tightness it doesn't move at all. I have worn this belt to the office, on backcountry ski tours, and while lapping the ski resort and it has stayed locked in place the whole time.

If you are looking for a belt that is simple, solid, and secure, then look no further. If you have any questions about the Arc'teryx Conveyor Belt or any other products on our site please contact me directly.

        Solid and classy

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
        • Fit: Runs large
        • Size Bought: Small.

I'd dare you to try and break this thing but backcountry customers are creative. One of you would find a way and I feel like it'd probably be dangerous.
This thing is bomb proof. I've got it in two different colors now.
I wear a size 31-32" waist and the small works good with a tiny bit of overlap, medium works with more obviously. I prefer the small. The materials are very strong but a little rigid. Doesn't bother me and I wouldn't anticipate it bothering anyone else.
The newest MY of this belt has some pretty funky colors. Find one you like and buy it!

        Sturdy, great looking belt!

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
        • Fit: True to size
        • Size Bought: Small

Purchased a size small and it's perfect. I have a 31" waist and don't like to have a lot of belt overlap, the size small leaves about 6" overlapping.

        Solid construction; very well made.

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

        • Size Bought: Medium for a 33 waist.

This belt is far more sturdy than I had anticipated. The webbing is nice and thick and the belt tip is a sort of flexible kydex-like material. The belt doesn't slip (that is to say, the buckle holds the belt well) and can bear a pretty solid load (holster, knife, etc...) without slipping. Looking forward to wearing this belt skiing this season as well. I anticipate it doing very well in that capacity.

        Unanswered Question

So the sizing on this belt seems family long and the end is not designed to trim. I am curious why people are buying so long? I am a 33-4" waist and at 42" long, the small seems like that would be best with some tail. Any input from those whom purchased?
