    A killer spring glove.

Spring skiing can be wet and sloppy, but the Gore-Tex XCR membrane of the Arc'teryx Agilis Gore-Tex Glove means you don't have to worry about soggy hands and cold fingers. It's highly breathable, too, so sweat won't be a worry, and is complemented by strategically placed Primaloft insulation to provide lightweight warmth when you're hiking for turns or riding lifts. To keep things supple and dexterous, Arc'teryx made the Agilis from Fortius 1.0, a tough but lightweight softshell, and designed the palm from tough and flexible leather for increased durability. The brushed polyester lining is soft and moisture wicking, so your hands will stay nice and dry, and the hook-and-loop cuff keeps that killer corn from flying up, seeping down, and turning warm fingers cold.

    Warning, this glove ROCKS!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Absolute great feel inside and out, and actually warm enough for most days I ride all through winter. They have another model with more insulation but would be overkill for me, maybe suitable for night riding of if you're prone to being cold. Haven't had a chance to discover how waterproof the gore tex part is but looking forward to abusing it.

    Warm, comfortable, durable

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I initially purchased the Arc'teryx Anertia glove but this one was accidentally sent instead. Backcountry immediately refunded me the difference. Suffice to say this glove is warm, and comfortable to the max. I have used them on warmer bluebird days and straight whiteout sub 0 temps. The leather exterior will get wet as usual but the liner has yet to leak on me. Easy and fast to tighten. I purchased the medium and the fit is as if I had them custom-made. Worth every penny.

Hi Scott, you mention that "The leather exterior will get wet as usual". Once it is wet, doesn't it freeze. That has been my experience with any glove that gets wet and isn't being worn as on a winter backpacking trip. I am looking for a waterproof glove which has an outer layer which does not absorb water and still provides dexterity. Thanks.
